Remember when Pope Albert I of the Church of AGW and the rest of his acolytes said the Arctic would be ice free by 2013? Yeah. Me too. He also said that we would be at the point of no return and global warning would be out of control if we hadn’t done anything to stop it by now.
A chilly Arctic summer has left nearly a million more square miles of ocean covered with ice than at the same time last year – an increase of 60 per cent.
The rebound from 2012’s record low comes six years after the BBC reported that global warming would leave the Arctic ice-free in summer by 2013.

The Northwest Passage from the Atlantic to the Pacific has remained blocked by pack-ice all year. More than 20 yachts that had planned to sail it have been left ice-bound and a cruise ship attempting the route was forced to turn back.
Some eminent scientists now believe the world is heading for a period of cooling that will not end until the middle of this century – a process that would expose computer forecasts of imminent catastrophic warming as dangerously misleading.
There goes Pope Albert’s money train. It looks like his “documentary” An Inconvenient Truth turned out to be as big of a fraud as Obunglers Nobel Peace Prize.
The disclosure comes 11 months after The Mail on Sunday triggered intense political and scientific debate by revealing that global warming has ‘paused’ since the beginning of 1997 – an event that the computer models used by climate experts failed to predict.
Remember this? “The science is settled.” “There is a consensus.” Yeah. Me too.
In March, this newspaper further revealed that temperatures are about to drop below the level that the models forecast with ‘90 per cent certainty’.
The pause – which has now been accepted as real by every major climate research centre – is important, because the models’ predictions of ever-increasing global temperatures have made many of the world’s economies divert billions of pounds into ‘green’ measures to counter climate change.
Those predictions now appear gravely flawed.
And the world has wasted billions of dollars buying into this bullshit. Just think how much we have wasted here in the US with Obumbler’s green energy fiascos. Remember those five million high paying green energy jobs he promised back in 2008? What do we have to show for all the dollars he and the Dimocrats have “invested” in green energy? A lot of bankruptcies like Solyndra and other green energy companies. The only people who made money were the Oblunder donors who started those companies.
Can we return to reality now?
Climate scientists are only telling politicians what they’re paid to tell them.
How many people are going to tell their boss that their job is pointless and should be eliminated?
Yep and no hurricanes so far this year. Two days away from having latest ever first hurricane. Yet, Al Gore says we need to add a Cat 6 on the Saffir-Simpson scale. How about Cats -1, -2 and -3, or a big fat zero, in honor of Al.
The politics of global warming is an excuse for cronyism and fascistic controls. But I want to see the hard facts, and let the chips fall where they may. Here is a link to the chart of Arctic ice from 1978 until today. It shows a major long-term downward trend, and it will take a lot more than a one-year increase to break that trend.
Love that mid 1970’s “evidence.” Check out the 1975 “Global Cooling” claims, which said due to global cooling, “There are ominous signs that the Earth’s weather patterns have begun to change dramatically and that these changes may portend a drastic decline in food production – with serious political implications for just about every nation on Earth. The drop in food output could begin quite soon, perhaps only 10 years from now. The regions destined to feel its impact are the great wheat-producing lands of Canada and the U.S.S.R. in the North, along with a number of marginally self-sufficient tropical areas – parts of India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Indochina and Indonesia – where the growing season is dependent upon the rains brought by the monsoon.” Reality was world wheat production rose from 353 million tons in 1975 to 654 million tons in 2012, an 85 percent increase, compared to the 1975 vintage expert claims of a drop in output from wheat producing lands. The global warming scare game is pure crap. Your short term minima and maxima are evidence of nothing.

Point of Information.
In a fascist system, society is organized by occupation not on geography. The government treats the state, society, family, etc., as a body (Latin: corpus, thus corporatism) and tries to include the totality (thus totalitarian) of society in government.
Companies are governed by a board of directors made up of representatives of employees, owners/management, and customers. Since people throughout the nation and all occupations are usually the customer of many companies, some of the customer representatives are members of the government.
Instead of states, we have corporations which are not businesses but more like guilds or unions on steroids. These corporations are made up of representatives of labor through the industry, representatives of capital through the industry, and representatives of the industry’s customers (which might be other industries). Again, representatives of the government would also be present to represent the entire nation and all occupations.
These corporations would regulate everything for the industry — everything from work hours, working conditions, and industry standards (replacing groups like the IEEE) to wages, prices, production limits, and profits.
These corporations would be things like Engineering, Construction, Law, Clergy, Physicians, etc. There would also be a corporation of Retirees to represent retirees and a corporation of Stay-at-Home-Parents to represent their interests. Alexander Raven Thomson gives a list of 22 corporations for the proposed British fascist state in his book The Coming Corporate State.
The national government would include a “House of Corporations” which would, you guessed it, be made up of representatives of capital, labor, and customers from each of the corporations.
So you would vote based not on your county and state but upon your occupation. The moment the words “occupational franchise” pass out of someone’s mouth, we know we’re talking to a genuine fascist.
Until Obama starts talking about the above, we should refrain from calling him a fascist because, I find, that people who apply the term “fascist” without knowing the above, particularly on lassiez faire capitalism, would glad embrace authentic fascism all the while railing against the exact same things the real fascists protested (cartels, the control of government by business, etc., etc.).
So when I “adopted” a polar bear last year, that was a bad bet, was it?

Just think of all the Global Warming/Climate Change documentaries the National Geographic Society is going to have to scrap.

Downward trend for the extent of the arctic…..First I have read predictions for the return of a cooling period which would reverse the downward trend …seems this is now happening.
Second a 30+yearly chart for conditions which occur in cycles of hundreds to thousands of years does not impress me to much of a degree.

All of those ‘Global Warming’ Climate change advocates are just going to turn round and say that their predictions were right all along and THEY have saved the Earth with their warnings.
