It’s also true that this country was founded on the principle that we judge each individual and that anyone of any faith is welcome here. I actually believe that people of faith make better leaders. Where they are Christians, as I am, my faith has sustained me through some very bad times. I’ve battled cancer, I’ve lost a child, I’ve been tested. But, whether it’s a person of Christian faith, or Jewish faith, or Muslim faith, or other faiths, I think faith gives us humility and empathy and optimism and I think those are important.
Fallon: So you would be fine with that?
Fiorina: Yes, I would be fine with that.
Here she displays her total lack of knowledge of Islam. First off, Islam is not a religion as much as it is an ideology masquerading as a religion. Mohammed (Piss Be Upon Him) an insane pedophile, wanted to unite the Arabs. He stole portions of the Bible from both the Old Testament and the New Testament, elevated a minor Semitic moon god, Allah, to be a supreme being and Islam was born. What Carly fails to understand is that a Mooslime would put his religion ideology above the Constitution. Sharia Law trumps everything. Islam is totally incompatible with Western Civilization. A Mooslime president would want to turn this country into a theocracy. He certainly wouldn’t recognize American exceptionalism. He also wouldn’t recognize that this country was founded on Judeo-Christian principles and not Islamic principles. He would be anti-American and pro-Islam. He would be a disaster, like the dude we have in the White House now.

I was going for Fiorina until this. She forgets (conveniently?) that Muslims look at women as something that is second or third rate beings, chattel if you will, subject to regular beatings for no reason by their husbands. That true Muslims advocate for Sharia Law rather than our Constitutional Law. That true Muslims believe that gays and lesbians are fit for only one thing – execution.
And that is only for starters. There are so many other things that Muslims believe that are antithetical to our, the U.S. and Constitutional standards too numerous to iterate here.
Because of this, I am going to lean more toward Dr. Carson, at least for now. The Republican Conventions is almost a year away, so anything could and probably will happen between now and then.
Well, I’m not gonna join the single-issue zealots and abandon ANY candidate because of one opinion that doesn’t dovetail with mine. For example, Carson is almost rabid on the subject of evolution, calling it a “fairy tale” and saying that life cannot evolve from non-life.
I wouldn’t vote for OR against a candidate simply because of the abortion issue any more than I’d vote for or against one based solely on his or her stance on climate change.
What I WILL vote against is a socialist, a liar, a hypocrite, or an unAmerican. Those criteria alone tend to eliminate a whole wad of candidates.
How about we just go back to the Germanic tradition of trial by combat: toss ’em all in a cage armed with clubs and daggers, and the last one standing is The Winnah!
I’d also like to see some public pillorying and whipping for officials caught up in lies, moral lapses, ethical misconduct, and fiscal wantonness.
I still like Carly but certainly haven’t got a favorite in the race yet. I think she was giving the politically correct answer. Anything else at this time would be inviting a bunch of scathing attacks from all quarters.
I’ve ruled out a few. Bush. Sorry I don’t even know how qualified he is, but a lot of people won’t vote for another Bush. We need votes. Anyone who believes in Climate Change or at least won’t say it’s not that important. This is a game changer for me.

As for Muslims, I see an an end to them much in the way the fanatical Japanese and Nazi’s were dealt with. Two bombs and the Japanese decided they would prefer to live rather than go on being at war and the Nazis were firebombed out of existence. Israel will take out Tripoli, Tehran, and Baghdad in one day if they are pushed and the world will be a better place for it.

I think that Carly is taking the ‘Political’ road on this one. In the current age of extreme PC tolerance, to the point of stepping all over and trampling the principles that this country was founded (and flourished) under, politicians are less and less likely to say what needs to be said and more likely to say what they think people want to hear. Dancing like a used napkin in the political winds that are created by the uniformed, extremely biased and misguided leads someone striving for a public office job far from where they started and hoping that the wind that always blows away from the truth (as non-PC as it can be) will miraculously change direction and take them back to their origin. The thing is, once you go down the road of appeasing those that you think are your constituents, you cannot go back to those that hold your original views. Carly has gotten to the main stage and she is saying anything to keep herself there. As far as I would have gone to remain PC would be to say “They can be of any faith, AS LONG AS they uphold the Constitution.” (of course, a muslim would not uphold the constitution, it conflicts with their cult). She did not say this. Therefore, I feel that she is either ok with our Mooslime in office, or getting blown around with the hot winds of the politically correct Either way, she will not be getting my vote.
The problem with most of the candidates is that they are career politicians. And we do not need any more of those screwing this country up more than they already have.
If the Repubs would just take a page out of the Dems playbook they’d win easily. Just say anything to appease the masses, regardless of what your record says. Once you are in office, do an about face and run roughshod over the whole lot of them.
