As I was sitting in the shower this morning, this tune started running through my head. I remember hearing it way back when I was in the Navy played on electric guitar playing single notes backed up by someone on rhythm guitar playing chords and a bass player. I looked for a version on YouTube and I was surprised to find an acoustic version for solo guitar and here it is.

Ah Memories……..Back in my single days I had a girl friend who really really loved this song & once she realized so did I , we became extremely close friends for several months before she moved to Phoenix. I wonder what became of her.

Wow…. “Je t’ai donné mon coeur.” I have not heard that melody since I left home 60 years ago. And all the words came back instantly in my memory. A very popular song in my youth. I cannot believe that I’m listening and watching Tino Rossi at 86, as I did at 18. YouTube is really fantastic.
