It keeps getting worse for the seniors. Already screwed by the Fed’s policy of low interest rates which has cut the amount of money they receive from their fixed income investments (CD’s pay next to nothing and some Money Market mutual funds actually charge investors rather than paying dividends), now they find out they’re not getting a cost of living raise for their Social Security next year. Meanwhile, for some of them, their Medicare premiums are going up. Welcome to the wonderful Obungler economy. This is the the third time during the Obumbler presidency there has been no Social Security COLA. Aren’t you geezers who voted for Oblunder happy? Hmmmm. I wonder if Congress is getting a COLA this year?

The Fed has been promising to raise interest rates all year. They just need a good jobs report. Funny. The LSM propaganda arm of the Dimocrat Party keeps telling us how good employment is. I mean, unemployment is in the low 5’s. That’s like full employment, or so sez the Dimocrat operatives with bylines. How much better can the job numbers get? Under Bush, when unemployment was in the 4’s, these same people wrote about a “jobless recovery”. So, I guess it depends on which party is in the White House.

Of course, anyone paying attention knows how bogus those unemployment numbers are. They don’t count how many people have given up looking for work during the wonderful Oblamebush economy. They don’t count how many people whose jobs have gone from full time to part time due to the job killing entitlement program Obummercare. Seven years into Reagan’s presidency, the economy was booming. Seven years into Obongo’s the economy is still struggling. I’ll be willing to bet that the real unemployment rate is more that 12%. Remember, we have record numbers of people on disability (who won’t get a raise either) who chose to go that route because they couldn’t find work. Black unemployment is at record levels which just goes to show that voting for skin color may not be in one’s best interest. The Obamessiah screws his worshipers. BWAHAHAHAHAHA!

So sorry geezers. You continue to get screwed. Think about this next year when you think of voting for Thunder Rodent Thighs. She will continue the same policies as Obammy. She will not be the third Clinton term. She is running against just about every policy of BJ. She will, however, be the third Obeauzeau term.
