Not quite. Obummercare is self-destructing now. Of course, this is OK with the Dimocrats because they will try to blame it on Republicans, even though no Republican voted for it. When the people demand that the gummint “do something” about the implosion of Obummercare, the Dimocrats will respond with their wet dream of single payer gummint run health care. The Stupid Party will figger some way to screw up like they did at the turn of the century when they spent like Dimocrats, and the Dimocrats will get a Dimocrat president and control of Congress again. Then, this step will be done.
2. Poverty: “Increase the Poverty level as high as possible.” Poor People are easier to control and will not fight back if you are providing everything for them to live. DONE!!!
Isn’t it ironic that the people who are doing the worst under our first black president are his black brothers and sisters? Black unemployment is at record levels. Fifty years of voting for Dimocrats and they are still poor, uneducated, and dependent upon the gummint, not to mention killing each other. Black Lives Matter. Pull my finger.
3. Debt: “Increase the National Debt to an unsustainable level.” That way you are able to increase Taxes, and this will produce more Poverty. DONE!!!
We thought Bush and the Republicans did a good job running up the debt, but in seven years, Obumbler has almost doubled it.
4. Gun Control: “Remove the ability to defend themselves from the Government.” That way you are able to create a Police State – total local control. ALMOST THERE!!!
And every time there is some kind of shooting, Dimocrats stand on the graves of the victims and demand more gun control, yannow, like today. Of course, let’s totally ignore that it was Mooslime jihadists who killed all of the people today. It ain’t guns that do the killing. You want to stop massive gun murders in this country? Keep black males from getting guns. They’re the ones who do most of the killings in this country. Baltimore is setting a record for homicides this year in the wake of the Freddie Gray death. Baltimore has stringent gun laws. These homicides are almost all black on black killings. In Chicago, which has some of the strictest gun control laws in the country, someone is shot every three hours and someone is murdered every eighteen hours (I’m rounding up these numbers to make them even). These are committed almost entirely by black males and the victims are mostly black. In Chicago, and Baltimore, Detoilet, St. Louis, Newark, Birmingham, and many other cities, guns don’t kill people, black males kill people. Pointing this out makes me a racist, just like saying the San Bernadino killings were done by Mooslime terrorists makes me a racist, even though Islam is not a race.
5. Welfare: “Take control of every aspect of their lives” (Food, Livestock, Housing, and Income). DONE!!!
Yep! And we saw what happened in Nawlins when gummint broke down. All the welfare recipients were helpless. Fifty years of Dimocrat social policies. This is what LBJ’s Great Fucking Society has given us.

I beg to differ. That is done. Our gummint schools have turned into socialist indoctrination centers. This site’s pet liberal, Robin Palm, disputed that and pointed out that the more educated a person was, the more likely he was to vote for a Dimocrat. Thanks for proving my point. The brainwashing worked. BTW, that doesn’t work for tech degrees since engineers deal in facts rather than emotions.

Didja see the response by the left yesterday and today to people offering thoughts and prayers to the victims of the San Bernadino shootings? They tried to shame people who offered prayers. Religion bad! Liberalism is a mental disease.

Oblunder has been the Great Divider. Race relations in this country are the worse that I have seen in my lifetime and I’m sixty-nine years old. White people, who built this country and have created the modern world that we live in are being blamed for everything. If things don’t get better, we are heading for an all out race war. Black people might want to think long and hard about that since white people outnumber them and have more guns, but black folks aren’t very bright. They’ve spent the last fifty years falling for the BS of the Dimocrat Party and what has it brought them? High unemployment. Poverty. No education. The black family has been broken up. Three out of four black children are born to single mothers. If the KKK had tried to come up with a program to keep blacks poor and uneducated, they could have not done a better job than today’s Dimocrat Party. Maybe it was planned since the KKK was the militant wing of the Dimocrat Party. Remember Bull Connor? He was a member of the Dimocrat National Committee. Senator Richard Byrd was a Kleagle of the KKK. It was a Dimocrat governor, Fritz Hollings, who put the rebel flag on top of the capital in South Carolina. Yet, blacks vote solidly Dimocrat. Ergo, they’re stupid. Ergo, I must be a racist for pointing this out.

Yep! And I’ve changed my prediction. This country will become a socialist dictatorship within the next twenty to forty years. Fortunately, I’ll be gone by then. I saw this country at the peak of its wealth and power. Hopefully, I won’t be around for the fall.

As for the education aspect, what we have in the public schools is not education, it is schooling. To see real education, so to a library — people are there to learn, not to be taught the wonders of socialism.
I’ll turn 59 in mid January and I miss the nation that I grew up in and was a young man in. I figure I’ve got 10-15 years left in me. I don’t think that I’ll see the total collapse of the USA but I have seen the beginning of it.
It was a great place and the youngsters today haven’t a clue about how great it really was and they’ll never have it as good as we oldsters had it.
They’ll have to deal constantly with a ever growing tyrannical govt. that will consume their freedom and their wealth.
Like rrddbb I see that the Nation now is very different to the one I knew as a child. Which leads me to cogitate – what is it about socialists that they think they have a right to control other people; and why do they believe that their way is the right way? What defect of ego leads people such as Lenin, PolPot, Gramsci, Eslake etc to believe they can commandeer our lives?
Answer – socialists are sociopathic. There Denny – like you say, Socialism is a disease!
Why does it increase?
Because conservatives have a fatal flaw. That of courtesy. They keep out of other peoples lives; they do not take offence easily; they believe in giving something back to society.
Possible solution. Call in the troops! They would need to be from another country, hence mercenaries, or crusaders. Let them deal with the pest eradication and then go home. After that, make sure the Politicians are held to account.

I beg to differ on the Robin Palm education statement. I have worked for three different large multinational corporations in my lifetime, and I can tell you that the educated management are overwhelmingly Conservative, and the uneducated union workforce is the Progressives. Not just engineers. I’m a CPA and have known many accountants in my lifetime, and I’ve only met three that I could call Progressives, and one of them had a wife that was a lifelong federal government employee.
Accounting replies logic and facts which are anathema to progressives just like tech. Robin had a masters in environmental garbage or urban planning or sumpin’ like that.
The left’s gestalt is that of presumed compassion. It “feels good” to advocate “helping people.”
It feels even better to denigrate anyone who disagrees with them so they can feel superior.
If you listen to a leftist you won’t hear them say how wonderful some program or some person is. All they can do is go on a self-righteous rant about how evil anyone who disagrees with them is. And they’ll make up stuff/statistics faster than we can disprove them.
Most conservatives are happy just to live peacefully and let leftists be. As Tout says, we’d prefer to be courteous.

Exactly! Emotions over logic and facts. They mean well so it doesn’t matter if all of their policies fail, like the 50 years of trying to solve poverty by giving money to poor people. Who cares if their policies destroyed the black family because they really really cared? As I have written many times, liberals are the real racists because they think blacks are too stupid to make it without their help. They think they’re too stupid to get into good colleges so they lower admission standards and add points to their SAT scores for being black. They think they are too stupid to get hired so they lower hiring standards and demand the abolition of aptitude tests because aptitude tests “are racist”. What is this telling blacks?
Muscle is a great metaphor and makes for a fun analogy for people in general.
You don’t take a weak muscle, give it drugs and not stress it at all. It will only get weaker. Only proper nutrition and stress followed by recovery can do that. That takes mindfulness and skill – things that are rather lacking in the higher echelons.
