As we say in the mail business, it do, too, bend. Just grasp firmly with both hands, raise knee, apply pressure to the middle object and there you go, you’ve proved it does bend.
I had a boss years ago who, whenever he saw something that said “Do Not Bend” would immediately say “Do Not Mail”, with an evil grin on his face.
