So there’s Ashleigh Banfield tellin me how Mitt Romney just “excoriated” Donald Trump in a “powerful and scathing” rebuke of his plans, his policies, his attitude, and his behavior, specifically his language.

Say WHUT? Mittens? “Powerful”? “Scathing”? YGMSM! Now I wish I’d temporarily rescinded my steadfast refusal to listen to political speechifyin. I’d like to have seen that guy show some cojones.

BECAUSE (2) the powers-that-be in the GOP fully intend to do whatever’s necessary to sabotage Trump and throw the RNC convention into a contested one in which dedicated delegates can vote for Charlie Brown or Joe Btxfsplk if they like.

Whatever. Soetoro will tell Lynch to backburner the charges against Hillary for doing what any active duty military person with a security clearance would get 20 years for doing. Then the GOP will manage to keep Trump from getting the 51% he needs for the nod, and a spontaneous “Draft Mitt” undercurrent will sweep thru the media and into the convention hall.

The convention bosses will find a way to give Romney still ANOTHER chance to steal ignominy from victory, Trump will take his pissed-off rabble and go all Ross Perot on it, and Cankles will ascend to her rightful throne as Her Firstness.

I donno what else Romney could be trying to accomplish, ‘cause all he’s done is dump a load of horsefeathers and goat droppings into the already muddy waters of the GOP election pool. And I say that without knowing what he said.

For over a hundred years now, American politics has had a sort of moratorium on authentic, honest, straightforward presidential campaigning. It’s developed into some kind of ritual warfare, like two tribes who realize that killing each other just weakens them both, so they choose popular warriors to go do a carefully choreographed dance around the village fire to determine who the next Big Kahuna will be.

It’s all a sham, and when an outsider, such as a George Wallace or a Barry Goldwater or a Ross Perot comes along, they have little kids go out and flick sharp stones under his feet as he dances or shout insulting comments about his penis . . . or his mother.

History will likely refer to this US political campaign as the year everybody got it wrong. The pundits, the managers, the analysts . . . even the voters. Hell, even Krauthammer.

Bosses in both parties are disappointed in the surviving candidates. Dems don’t trust Hillary any more than voters do. What’s her rating in terms of trustworthiness? Around 30% or so? And the GOP is considering seppuku as their only anti-Trump escape route.

Nobody likes Cruz, Kasich stimulates almost as much mass yawning as Carson, and Rubio has suddenly begun channeling Don Rickles. And Sanders, of course, is a 1968 candidate from Haight-Ashbury in a 2016 debate trying to convince people that HE can make a great success of what has failed everyplace else it’s been tried.

Everyone knows that Trump’s primary motivator is vanity, just as Hillary’s is lust for power. Although he might very well make strong initial efforts at fixing several of the country’s problems, Trump would tire of the frustration of a balky Congress and lose interest in the promises he made on the campaign trail, eventually becoming a malicious Loki. He’s Bombast with a veneer of Man-Tan.

After all the pomp and hoohah of Her Firstness dies down, Hillary would reveal herself as the Medusa she truly is once the House refuses to pay for one of her boondoggles or the Senate declines to approve one of her appointees. She’s nothing more than classic Deceit dipped in NutraSweet.

Will Trump be good for America as PotUS? No, not really. Is Trump good for politics? Yes, I think he is. He’s like a thunderstorm that comes along and rinses the old stale dust off of things, hauls away the stagnant air and blows the deadwood out of the trees, injects energy into the neighborhood, and brings new life to the withering plants.

But in the end, it’ll be Trump that trumps Trump, and he’ll dissipate like that summer storm, leaving the streets clean and the grass green and the minds keen

I’m hoping that his sustained attack on what has lately become dreadfully boring political correctness doesn’t fizzle out with him. It’s been refreshing and invigorating to hear a frontrunner, even a firebrand renegade pacesetter, articulate what I believe the majority of ordinary Americans think about stuff.

Yep, this is the year EVERYbody got it wrong. And Mitt is just reviving a past fiasco.

Trump crushed it in Jawja. I voted for him. Sure. He’s a bloviating blowhard, a brash bully, and a demagogue, but, he is the only person who wants to save the country from the immigration that is gonna destroy our country if it isn’t stopped. He wants to save us from the invasion on our southern border. Are you tired of having to press one for English? Me too. Are you sick of bilingual education? Me too. What about kids not being able to wear patriotic shirts to school because it offends Hispanics? Screw the Hispanics. This is our country, not theirs. What about people who are offended by the American flag. If that offends them, they need to get the fuck out of our country.

He wants to stop Mooslime immigration which is nothing more than an advance colonization from Islamic countries. Islam is totally incompatible with America and our way of life. Mooslimes will not assimilate. They don’t want to. They want Sharia.

Immigration is the most important problem facing this country. What does Marco Gang of 8 Scamnesty Rubio want? Comprehensive immigration reform. That is code for open borders and amnesty for all of the illegals here. Anyone who is on the same side as Chuck the schmuck Schumer is not a Republican. Ted Cruz is not for a wall on the southern border either.

The GOPe claims that Trump is not a conservative. He’s more of one than GOPe senators like Bitch McConnell, Johnny Maverick McRINO and his mini-me little Lindsey Graham. They are more willing to fight the Tea Party than the Dimocrat Party. And look at the last two candidates that the GOPe has given us. Johnny Maveric McRINO who ran on the platform of “reaching across the aisle” and working with Dimocrats while stabbing Republicans and his running mate in the back. Then, they gave us Mittens Romneycare, the only Republican who couldn’t run against Obummercare. The geniuses who gave us McRINO and Mittens are now telling us that Trump can’t win. Yeah. Like we’re supposed to listen to those losers. They gave us two losers and ran two losing campaigns and we’re supposed to listen to them?

We have “conservative” pundits who claim that Trump is gonna destroy the Republican Party and the conservative movement. I’ve got news for them. It’s already happened. It happened during Bush 43’s presidencey when Bush and the Republican Party spent like Dimocrats and ran up 4 trillion dollars in debt, which was a record until Dimocrats and Obungler showed them what pikers they were by running up 8 trillion dollars in debt. From 2000-2006 the Republicans grew gummint by giving us another cabinet department, the Department of Homeland Security and another entitlement program, Medicare part D. That was known as “compassionate conservatism”. So don’t blame Trump for destroying the Republican Party or conservatism. The establishment Republicans like Bitch McConnell, McRINO, and John Boner did that. Over the past seven years these assholes have promised to stop Obumbler if we would just vote for them. How did that work out? We gave them the House and the Senate and it’s been business as usual.

The Republican Party needs to be destroyed. We’re sick of being lied to. We’re sick of broken promises. We’re sick of being stabbed in the back. The grass roots are rising up and giving the finger to the GOPe. Had they kept their promises and done what we elected them to do, there would be no Donald Trump running for president. Can he beat Thunder Rodent Thighs. I think so. I do know that he’ll fight, sumpin’ McRINO and Mittens didn’t do when they ran. He won’t allow himself to be rolled in a debate like that fat tub of lard, Candy Crowley did to Mittens. He’s refreshing in not being politically correct. The only thing he really has to worry about is the GOPe sabotaging his campaign. They would rather see Cankles win than Trump and they call themselves Republicans?

The GOPe would rather commit slow suicide, which is what they’ll get by supporting the PIAP and open borders, than supporting Trump. Fuck them! Fuck them all!
