Saturday Uninformed Voter Joke

This one is from Ron in Ohio.

When her local newspaper had to stop printing for two weeks due to a printer’s strike, an irate uninformed voter called the newspaper and demanded to know why, since they knew the strike was imminent, couldn’t they just have, “printed-up a lot of papers ahead of time.”

  1. I think a lot of left-wing rags, the UN and government news agencies do just that.

I refer to the news release from the UN every spring that says, “(enter previous year here) was the hottest on record.”

      Beat me to it, MikeT.

If her local paper is like most, were it to print up those post-dated issues not even informed voters would notice the difference.

  2. Here in Erie our Newspapers are printed out of town down by Pittsburgh so the news contained in them are out of date by at least a day anyway.
This explains the popularity of the Internet locally for Republicans ,Democrats not so much.
As a public service our local TV stations all work together & offer continuous daily news broadcasts. We call it the Over & Over Forever & Ever News of Erie.
Actually so little happens here of local consequence they could just send us blank newspapers & we could fill in what we see or hear. At least those of us who can read & write.
