What with declining student enrollment due to the protests by the Black Lives Matter idiots last year Mizzou has had to cut its budget, posing the question, if there is strength in Diversity (All Hail Diveristy!) why is Mizzou going to pot? Their solution to this crisis is closing two dormitories and laying off 50 members of the custodial staff which will make the campus look as crappy as its policies.

Of course, they couldn’t lay off any of the professors or administrators who got them into this mess. Well, they did lay off Melissa Click, but I’ll be willing to bet there are another 50 Melissa Clicks on the Mizzou staff.

They didn’t expel the students who protested.

They didn’t shut down the football program and revoke the scholarships of the black players who refused to play if their demands weren’t met.

Appeasement never works and now Mizzou is just another institution where the SJWs won and the result is the decline of Mizzou. Since I’m originally from Missouri, this has been sad to witness.

He would also trade leads with his lead guitarist. The first time I saw Sammy I was surprised that he could play lead guitar as well as he did. This was the first song he ever wrote. From the album.

And here he is live in 1983 at the old Checkerdome (since been demolished) in St. Louis. I was prolly at this concert. He usually would play guitar on this song but this night he didn’t. St. Louis loved Sammy and Sammy loved St. Louis. All of his concerts would sell out. IMO, this band was a lot better than his Wabo band.

Such a beautiful day here in beautiful Dunwoody so here is a beautiful Vivaldi concerto. This was written for mandolins but sounds just fine with guitars.

Should I tell the Vivaldi joke that said he wrote over 200 concerti or the same concerto over 200 times? Too bad. I just did. When it comes to guitar works I love Vivaldi almost as much as I love Bach. In Vivaldi’s case he actually wrote his composition for guitars unlike Bach whose cello and violin pieces transcribe beautifully to guitar almost as if he had written them for that instrument.

It’s been a blah week for me and I haven’t really felt like doing too much blogging. I’m behind on emails. My sister called and asked why I didn’t respond to one of her emails. As a result, I haven’t really been paying too much attention to assholiness. I still have one however. I haven’t made fun of Jay Bookman in a while. Bookman is an ultra-liberal on the editorial staff of the Atlanta Urinal and Constipation. He also sports a big boner for Oboner. He wrote this op-ed about the GOP “fantasy” versus his “reality” about Obungler. In it he channels his inner Paul Krugman. Some examples.

The unemployment rate is now down to 5 percent, and an economy that was losing 800,000 jobs a month on the day of Barack Obama’s first inauguration has added more than 10 million private-sector jobs since that day.

Yet somehow, the job participation rate is the worst it has been in forty years. And that 5% unemployment rate that the libs like to throw around? That number does not count the people who have given up looking for work or part time workers who want full time jobs. The real unemployment rate is in the double digits. And what kind of jobs have been created? Low paying jobs. And I’m not even sure about that ten million number. It’s prolly as bogus as the 5% number. We have been in a jobs recession for the last seven years. Remember, under Bush the unemployment rate was 4%.

The stock market, which seven years ago had lost 50 percent of its value in the greatest financial collapse in more than 80 years, is now 30 percent above its pre-recession peak. The Dow Jones Industrial average has more than doubled, and corporate after-tax profits continue near all-time records.

And why is this? Because the Federal Reserve has been printing money to prop up the rotten Obummer economy. SRFs like me have been doing well but most of the shrinking middle class hasn’t.

According to numbers released today by Gallup, the percentage of American adults under 65 without health insurance has dropped to 11 percent, down significantly from its pre-ObamaCare peak. That number would be lower still if states such as Georgia (18 percent uninsured) had not stubbornly refused to expand Medicaid, denying help to hundreds of thousands of our fellow Georgians. The uninsured rates have dropped especially fast for black and Hispanic Americans, many of whom had never had access to health insurance and had no real hope of ever doing so.

Jay has been harping about that Medicaid expansion ever since Georgia refused to participate in that bait and switch scam. As many states who fell for that have found out, it’s costing a lot more than the gummint said it would (Here is my shocked face.) and it is impacting state budgets really hard. The number of uninsured has dropped from 18% to 11%. Big deal! He doesn’t say how much it has cost to get that number down by seven percentage points or all of the broken promises. If you like your doctor you can keep him. Lie! If you like your health insurance you can keep it. Lie! Premiums would decline by $2500. Lie! Instead they have risen dramatically, in some cases as much as $4000. Deductibles are now sky high as well. Many people are now saying their insurance is worthless. Obummercare has made things worse. Almost all of the exchanges have failed or in the process of failing. United Health Group, the largest health insurance company in America is pulling out of Obummercare. If this is success, I would hate to see what Jay thinks is a failure.

and the federal deficit as a share of GDP is projected to drop to 3.3 percent this year, at or below the modern average and well below the range during the Reagan era, just to pick a time frame.

When you consider Oblunder started with deficits of over $1 trillion it had to go down. Unfortunately, this year will be the lowest deficit and it will start going back up next year. Obambi will have doubled the debt by the time he leaves office. It was around $10 trillion when he entered office. It will be over $20 trillion when he leaves. That is more than all of the previous presidents combined. And what lowered the deficit? The sequester which was a result of Republicans showing some spine and calling Obooger’s bluff on it. And as for Reagan, his deficits started the longest post war boom this country has ever seen. It also resulted in the end of the Cold War, which we won. Those deficits were worth it. What have Obarky’s deficits given us? Slow growth and a jobs recession. We’re fixing to enter a real recession any day now. Growth is slowing and was prolly negative again in the first quarter. About now, the LSM propaganda arm of the Dimocrat Party will be writing more bullshit about a recovery summer, that in seven years still hasn’t happened.

Given all that, it shouldn’t be a surprise that Gallup also reports that a majority of Americans now approve of President Obama’s job performance, a rating well above the presidential average and also above that of President Reagan at this point in his second term. Given that the hardcore GOP base comprises roughly a third of the electorate, that’s pretty impressive.

It is. How can that be? Are Americans really that stupid to think that the worst president in American history is doing a real good job. Shows just how impressive the propaganda arm of the Dimocrat Party is.

Think about what more might have been accomplished with an opposition party that was capable of compromise in the national interest, that had priorities other than ensuring that this president was an absolute and utter failure.

Just think how much better off we would be if we had a competent president who was willing to compromise with the opposition party and was not bound and determined to turn this country into a Third World shithole. Fixed it for you Jay.

GERMANY has announced plans to ban images of scantily-clad women in adverts in response to the sexual assaults in Cologne on New Year’s Eve.

Rather than go after the savages, Germany will change their culture so they won’t offend said savages. It won’t work you idiots. They’ll still assault and rape your women.

German Justice Minister Heiko Maas said the move to ban ads which “reduce women or men to sexual objects” is an attempt to create a “modern gender image”.

The proposal, if introduced later this year, would see courts decide on what qualifies as sexist.

The plan has been called political correctness gone mad by its critics, who said it was the first step towards a “nanny state”.

It comes following a controversy over claims made by a senior politician that some schools and canteens in Germany are ‘banning’ the serving of pork to avoid offending Muslim migrants

The move comes a day after the first case related to a string of sexual assaults and muggings against women across on New Year’s Eve went to trial.

The defendant, identified only as Toufik M, is accused of being part of a group of 15 to 20 men who surrounded a woman and groped her.

Thousands of women were sexually assaulted, attacked and mugged across Germany during New Year’s Eve celebrations.

And what does Germany do? It bans pork in schools. It bans scantily clad women in advertisements. What it should do is send these invaders back to from where they came. If something offends them. they are in the wrong country and they should return to the shitholestans they came from. This is fucking ridiculous. None of this will stop the rapes and assaults. It’s the Islam stupid! This is what they do. This is part of their culture. This is part of their religion.

The attacks were blamed largely on migrant men, fuelling a tense debate on Germany’s immigration policy.
