June 6 was D-Day the largest amphibious landing in history. Many of the soldiers who hit the beaches of Normandy were 17, 18, 19 years old. Now we have 17, 18, 19 year-olds who are afraid of words scrawled on sidewalks in chalk.
Last century we built huge dams like Hoover Dam on the Colorado River or Grand Coulee and the other dams on the Columbia River. Hoover Dam was built ahead of schedule and under budget. When was the last time we built a large dam? Heck. We have environmentalist whackos who want to blow up dams. California would be in much better shape if there were more dams.
We built the interstate highway system where it is theoretically possible to go from coast to coast without stopping at a stop light. Now we’re building useless streetcars in our cities.
We built the Golden Gate Bridge and the Oakland Bay Bridge. Now, to rebuild the eastern part of the Oakland Bay Bridge has taken over 12 years from design to completion.
We built huge skyscrapers like the World Trade Center. The goat humpers took them down with airplanes. Did we rebuild them bigger and better? Nope. We built one “freedom tower” on the site which required a radio tower to achieve the final height.
We put men on the moon. We used to have space shuttles that we could reuse. Now we have to buy flights from Russia to send our astronauts to the International Space Station. And even those space shuttles could only reach low earth orbit. The International Space Station will eventually have to be dumped into the sea. We need a space station in a permanent high earth orbit. We need delivery vehicles to get them there. We need a colony on the moon. All of this seemed possible back in 1967 when America was great. Arthur Clarke thought we would do it by 2001. Was he ever wrong!
We won three world wars: WWI, WWII, and the Cold War. Unfortunately, we tied one war in Korea and we lost one war to a pissant country like North Viet Nam. It wasn’t our military’s fault. It was traitors like Walter Cronkite who lied about what he saw in Viet Nam. And speaking of traitors, we used to send them to jail or execute them. Why is Jane Fonda walking free or alive?
It’s around the time of Viet Nam that we lost our greatness. The Dimocrat Party did everything in its power to try to make us lose the Cold War. The same things they are saying about Trump today they said about Reagan back in 1980. He was a cowboy. He was a loose cannon. He was gonna start a nuclear war. And they were joined by a lot of Republicans just like today.
Yeah. America used to be great. At one time, even Dimocrats were patriots but that was a long time ago. Now they are supporting an invasion of our country. We did hard things. JFK, a Dimocrat, challenged us to do hard things. Republicans used to be patriots as well. Now many of them support the same invasion of disease ridden, illiterate Third World people that we cannot afford to support. Those Republicans and the entire Dimocrat Party are plotting the downfall of this country.
Trump wants to try to make America great again. He is being opposed by all of those people who don’t. That includes the entire Dimocrat Party who, is giving their supporters a choice between a crooked traitor like crookedcankles and a rat bastard commie like Bernie and the cuckservatives of the Republican Party who oppose Trump for not being conservative enough or for opposing the invasion from the Third World because they want cheap labor. He’s also being opposed by the media which is nothing more than the propaganda arm of the Dimocrat Party.
Maybe America can’t be great again. Maybe it is too late and the Dimocrats and the RINOs have already done too much damage. At least we have one man who wants to try.

Hate to disagree with any part of this, Denny, but IIRC we’d reached an agreement with the Commies when we left Viet Nam that they’d stay in the North. Our big mistake after that was when the dickless, ball-lickin’ Dems wouldn’t follow up when the NVA and Chinese violated the cease fire and invaded the South.

About the Golden Gate Bridge: Here in the PNW, there is a big push to get a new bridge on I-5 over the Columbia River (it has a lift section that stops traffic 3 or times a day) for the last 10 or so years. To date, it has bee stopped once over Oregon wanting to include light rail on it. Nothing since then, except a bunch of go-nowhere suggestions.
An the VietNam War: You asked why Jane Fonda is still running around loose, or not executed as a traitor. I as why John Heinz-Kerry (or Kerry-Heinz) , a deserter who wangled his way out of VietNam months before his regular rotation, was given the job of Secretary of State, for which he was not capable of and has proven himself to be incompetent at the job, and nothing more that a blatant toady for our Muslim, incompetent “president”

I’m voting for Trump, but only because he’s the only option for Republicans. Do I trust him? No, but we KNOW what Hillary is. Is Trump genuine?
