You did a fantastic job. Denny. With a variety of wonderful players. Bach must be so pleased.
It brought me back to the first days I followed you, years ago, and discovered that first class musiciens were playing my favorite composer on a guitar. Sometimes, it made me feel sorry that I had chosen piano to practice scales, preludes and fugues. Not that I don’t love piano music. I do with all my heart. But you can hardly carry your piano with you when you go out with friends. It would have been so much fun, in my youth, to share Bach with the group on those impromptu evenings when we would decide to sing, dance, recite plays, poetry, etc. There was always a guitar playing, of course. But only pop and folk music. Nothing as gloriously beautiful as the Gigue of Bach Cello Suite #6.
