I am a practicing Catholic and will not give any money to anything at church but our weekly collection and I KNOW what happens to that money since I chair the finance council with six other persons and we know how every cent is spent…much to the consternation of some clergy.
We won’t donate much to the weekly since the Archdiocese gets a cut. We do donate to SVdP, and specific funds like the school roof or the church A/C
