Given his history, I think he WAS a Democrat in the traditional
sense of the word. Ronald Reagan bolted from the Democrat
party once they drifted towards Marxism and John Kennedy
told his campaign managers in 1960 that if Adlai Stevenson
won the primary that he would very publicly endorse Richard
Nixon. JFK despised the “progressive” wing of his own party.
What I am trying to say is that for close to four decades, I would
have gladly pulled the lever for an anti-communist fiscal conservative
like Kennedy, if that was all I knew about him. His mistake was to
appoint gaggle of incompetent academic types like Strange Robert
McNamara and others to counsel him on matters of foreign affairs
issues including the Bay of Pigs and Vietnam fiasco.
Just because the guys he nominated were considered boy geniuses
that did not make them smart. On paper, he was an ideal president
but in reality, he did not work out so good. I saw this at work. The
paper mill I worked for hired an engineer with an MS that on paper
was a genius, but instead of shining like the sun, he fizzled out like
a kiddie sparkler because he went straight into the Navy without
gaining an ounce of practical experience.
I could still vote for a traditional Democrat if he were the real deal.
Funny, good laugh. I like to one about you may be a racist if you disagree with Trump. I guess that means blacks can be racist?

If Trump were a Democrat we all would be paying higher taxes and swallowing our national pride while he continues Obama’s apology tour, abroad.
Entirely separate: Epstein flight log are now available here. (Can’t wait to see how many Republicans are named and Dems forgotten.)
