Democrat Rep. Frederica Wilson said people who are “making fun” of members of Congress online should be “prosecuted.”

Screw that pesky 1st Amendment.

The Florida congresswoman made the comments on Tuesday outside of the Homestead Temporary Shelter for Unaccompanied Children in her home state.

“Those people who are online making fun of members of Congress are a disgrace, and there is no need for anyone to think that is unacceptable [sic],” Wilson said.

“We’re gonna shut them down and work with whoever it is to shut them down, and they should be prosecuted,” she added. “You cannot intimidate members of Congress, frighten members of Congress. It is against the law, and it’s a shame in this United States of America.”

No you constitutionally illiterate shrew. It is not against the law. Dumb twits like you and AOC deserve to be mocked. Both of you are laughingstocks. And if you want to make it against the law to mock congresscritters, it will also be against the law to mock the president. That means that you and a bunch of your friends will wind up in prison.

Y’know . . . Al Gore got what was wunsapponatime a prestigious award for world-class scaremongering: the Alfred B. Nobel prize — for exaggerating and exploiting dissertations from wannabe scientists in the category of climate hysteria.

And then DingleBarry was awarded one for doing absolutely nothing except capitalizing on white guilt, having anemic levels of melanin, reading from teleprompters, and living with a woman whose life was dedicated to destroying the fashion industry.

What they SHOULDA got was not the Alfred B. Nobel reward for performance, but the Alfred E. Neuman award for insignificance.

And I am awestruck by the prophetic appearance of Pete Buttigieg on the 1956 cover of MAD magazine issue # 30. How dey do dat? Predict the emergence of a guy on the national stage who wouldn’t even be conceived for another 25 years? Amazing!

Gotta say . . . it’s really difficult to avoid commenting on the state of Murkan politics. I mean . . . they make it so goddam EASY. JHC, every single one of the Dem potus wannabes has said – FOR THE RECORD – they’d tax legal citizens to provide entitlements to alien parasites, drunk drivers, Spanish-only speakers, and gang-bangers.

Well, I’m still not gonna pay attention to any of it ‘til about 14 months from now, 60 days or so before the election. By then we’ll have forgotten about at least 20 of the wannabes and won’t even remember anything they said or did. I ain’t gonna waste my time ‘til I hafta decide which one of ‘em I’m gonna vote against in the genelec.

Innerestin, tho, how in their insane drive to outdo each other with negatives and show how brilliant they are, publish-or-perish “journalists” are attacking Joe Biden from every conceivable angle. The left still wants a second “first” in the form of a female potus and clearly are leaning toward a tanned one just like their first “first.” So Gropey Joe has to go.

Might be tasty pudding a year from now to see how they spin it if he gets the nod over Horizontal Harris and they hafta drag him out from under the bus and restore him to presidential cogency, relevancy, and competency.

While I refuse to watch or listen to political “debates” on either end of the spectrum, the pretension and pomposity and bolshevism are hard to avoid; they’re in the air constantly, making it impossible to turn on the TV and not hear some stupid remark by some vapid panderer trying to remember which side of his/her mouth to speak from to bullshit the audience du jour.

The great majority of the pretenders in the Democrat race for the nomination are apparently cursed with some kind of phobia . . . something like acumenophobia (the fear of sound judgment, common sense, and logic).

AOC, Omar, and Tlaib, who aren’t in the race for potus but will need to campaign for re-election, are victims of legitophobia, I believe – a fear of being right about things.

And speaking of right, the hate-trump mania exhibited by virtually all Democrats is obviously a manifestation of dextrophobia – the fear of anything to the right. (That’s a legitimate one, BTW – not one I made up.)

Congress, of course, has an epidemic of referendophobia, which is a fear of voting. In fact, the US Congress has become a jobs program for people who specialize in overseeing, investigating, and writing reports and rules for managing problems. It’s not logical to expect such people to actually SOLVE the problems ‘cause then they’d be out of a job.

Today’s LGBTQ community is ridden with ordinarophobia, or the fear of being ignored and relegated to political insignificance, as is fitting for a mob of noisy demanding incongruents who don’t like anything anyway.

One other fear which SHOULD be pandemic but for some odd reason isn’t even on many people’s radars is trepidophobia, another word for fear of Muslims.

Most liberal talking points boil down to feeling morally superior to their opponents and using terms such as “racist” and “misogynist” to shut down discussion. See the irony in college snowflakes demanding “safe spaces” on their campuses but those same campuses can’t guarantee the safety of conservative speakers?

They keep telling us that “diversity is strength,” but discussing diverse ideas is strictly prohibited by liberals. I’m old enough to remember back when you could actually have an opinion of your own and express it publicly without offending anyone.

Might be intrestin, this next election. I’d LOVE to watch the massive simultaneous detonation and disintegration of 65 million libs’ heads if DJT gets 300 or more in the electoral college again.

Hard to choose . . . a healthy grey wolf howling at the full moon on a lonely hilltop or an unemployable MFA howling at the sky from a convention center littered with loser posters.

Many Catholics are upset with Red Francis and his many antics like changing the Lord’s Prayer. I asked my sister if her church had done so. Nope. Anyway, they are also expressing their discontent financially.

DETROIT (ChurchMilitant.com) – Catholics are closing their wallets to the Peter’s Pence collection set for the Masses this weekend, June 29–30.

The main reason is Pope Francis’ controversial gift of a half a million dollars last April, drawn from the Peter’s Pence collection, to the illegal immigrant caravan marching over the southern border of the United States.

My sister quit giving last year because she didn’t want to send any money to this pope that she has no respect for. I’m sure she didn’t give this year either.

According to the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, “The purpose of the Peter’s Pence Collection is to provide the Holy Father with the financial means to respond to those who are suffering as a result of war, oppression, natural disaster, and disease.”

I don’t see invasion listed in there.

Complicit Clergy, a laity-led initiative established last August in the aftermath of the Theodore McCarrick sex scandal and one of the groups urging the boycott of the Peter’s Pence collection, sees it at cross purposes with traditional Catholicism and more aligned with the values of liberation theology.

According to Vatican News, the funds would be directed to 27 projects promoted by 16 Mexican dioceses and religious congregations, providing food, lodging and basic necessities to the migrants.

Complicit Clergy disagrees with this benign description of how funds are allocated and maintains that Francis is “focusing on the Soros agenda, not the persecuted Catholics’ agenda.”
