Back in the 60s or 70s (I was out of country during many of those years) a spoof spy comedy show was popular on TV. One of the tricks of the trade it parodied was the “cone of silence” where operatives could talk with their supervisors without fear of being overheard. It always seemed for one reason or another to only confuse things, according to the guys who told me about it.

Today people such as Nadler, Schiff, Tlaib, Gillebrand, O’Rourke, Booker, Cummings, Pelosi, and others are apparently spending way too much time under the “cone of nonsense” and coming out with their brains scrambled.

The problem with the brainwashed liberals is not so much that they believe the propaganda they’ve been piggin out on but that when they’re shown how flawed their ideas, how impractical their plans, how catastrophic their policies will be, they refuse to believe it and automatically revert to the indoctrination they’ve been immersed in for decades.

It’s like trying to cure alcoholics, or morphine addicts, or pedophiles . . . truth and common sense mean nothing. Pictures, examples, statistics mean nothing. All that matters is the mantra, the resistance, the anti-Trumpism, the unrelenting harassment of anything one step right of far-left thinking.

Nadler insists on reviving the repeatedly deceased “obstruction” fiasco and miserably failing House impeachment process by calling totally biased special persecutor Mueller back to testify about what he already has declared nonexistent, even tho the guy sez he doesn’t wanna discuss it any further.

It’s like a type of insanity – the insistent demand that a sitting potus be impeached, imprisoned, and impaled even tho he has broken no laws and has steadily repaired much of the catastrophic damage wrought by his predecessor.

He has set himself up as some kind of self-appointed Tail-Gunner Joe to “investigate” Trump in what has devolved into pure harassment instead of oversight. He wants Trump destroyed and discarded for no better reason than that he doesn’t like him. Pure abuse of his legislative authority when he should be tryin to help solve REAL problems with immigration laws.

The harsh reality is, considering the improvements in so many things that his predecessor worked so hard to destroy, those who would bring DJT down – Waters, Schiff, Cummings, Pelosi, The Squad, Nadler – have become Prosperophobes, modern Don Quixotes tilting at the windmills of economy, immigration, taxation, prestige, and on and on and on.

In fact, what’s happening in Washington today is that The “Squad” are replacing the burnt-out self-plagiarizing established liberals, installing themselves as renewable sources of fresh anxiety, spin, political gamesmanship, and economic seppuku.

Hell, every liberal out there has jumped on the campaign bandwagon to promise free stuff for everyone. It’s like the country is morphing into a fast-food restaurant where you take whatever you want and the guy behind you has to pay for it. The trillions upon trillions that it will all cost in taxes will be written off as “shipping and handling” fees.

When Sanders and Warren and all the others, including AOC and Tlaib et al., finish their election campaigning, their shoes will look as if they’ve been on a walking tour of SanFranShitShow. Betcha if Trump’s picture suddenly appeared on the $20 bill instead of Tubman’s, the Prosperophobes would burn their own cash.

The Squad, or The Marxist Sisters, or whatever you call ‘em, DO need to go back where they came from: Omar to ShitHoleistan; Tlaib to Islamistan; Pressley to Hands-Up/Don’t-Shootistan; and AOC to Geekistan.

And I need to go back to the sack ‘cause ever’ time I step outside the back door, Mother Nature dribbles on my head. Funny, too, ‘cuz I can see the moon shinin through thin cirrus clouds . . . not a cumulus in sight, and ‘specially nothin nimbus . . . noplace for that rain to be comin from.

But it’s wet, and I don’t partic’larly wanna be that, so I’m gonna go get horizontal and watch some of my Bones cds. Generally I’d be watchin the news, but that just pisses me off these days . . . disgusts and demoralizes me. Michaela Conlin don’t affect me that way.
