CHICAGO (WLS) — Shootings across the city of Chicago this past weekend have left seven people dead and another 52 people wounded.
That’s 59 people shot. Fortunately, the shooters are not very good marksmen.
One of the most recent shootings occurred in the city’s Austin neighborhood. Investigators placed down several evidence markers Sunday night on Bloomingdale Avenue near Central Avenue. That’s where police said two men walked up to another man sitting in a parked car and started shooting.
The 21-year-old man was shot twice and rushed to the hospital where he later died. Another woman was injured, but was treated and released.
The shooting was one of multiple that took place over the past weekend, including two mass shootings in one police district.
One, a drive-by in Douglas Park that wounded seven people and another in the 1800-block of South Kildare Avenue where one person died and eight others injured.
Can’t blame the guns. Chicago has some of the strictest gun laws in the country. Can’t blame white people. Most of the shooters and most of the victims are Africans. What’s the national Fake News Media to do? Ignore it.
There is a shooting every three hours and ten minutes in Chicago. Someone is murdered every seventeen hours. (Statistics courtesy of HeyJackass.) Where’s the outrage?
Chicago does not have a gun problem. It has a young African men with guns problem. It’s also been run by Dimocrats for over fifty years, as has Baltimore, which has more murders per capita than Chicago. As has St. Louis, which has more murders per capita than Baltimore.
In all of these cities the problem is young African males who are killing more people than the drug addled idiots in Dayton and El Paso could even dream of.
We have these Dimocrat politicians standing on the graves of the victims of El Paso and Dayton screaming for “common sense” gun laws which is code for outlawing and confiscating all guns. Hows that worked in Chicago, Baltimore, Detoilet, and St. Louis?
Maybe we need “common sense” young African males with guns laws. Nah! That would be raaaaa-cist!
It’s Black on Black crime. And it’s the poor and young men. They simply do not care. And will not care because as you and others have wisely pointed out it does not fit their political agenda. I was on Twitter today and read a thread by a feminist that did nothing but bash white males, her and her followers used the shootings to grind their own personal axes of hate and tweet up a storm against white males. It was disgusting and racist as hell but allowed and even applauded. I had to get off Twitter before I threw my phone against a wall. This is the hypocrisy we have in this nation today.
I’m fine-tuning my Racial Sensitivity Meter, and need to know if I am a racist for wanting to NOT catch any blame for making any suggestion on how to improve this self-policing of Inner City communities. Let us practice non-involvement until they get themselves in order.
Or is that I’m a racist for NOT making suggestions, since nothing the blacks offer has worked at all, ever. And which way is the most Politically Correct, recognizing all 57 genders and their derivatives? It’s very demanding, trying to figure it out.
Oh the angst! What Does the Black Man Want? Do they or don’t they want to clean up their act—literally, figuratively and spiritually? When will somebody offer an idea that works?
If they were white and failing that badly, I would not be a racist to condemn them. Pigmentation outweighs competency every time, in Detroit or any other concentrated group of minorities.
Giving blacks self-determination has already led to Detroit’s bankruptcy, and an ongoing parade of criminal indictments including a mayor and others sent to prison. Blacks still blame whites. In Michigan it’s the Republicans up in Lansing who act and vote and think like Democrats so why bother to pretend a difference?
Democrats ruined Detroit. Nobody else. They are the only whites an inner-city black ever meets, the typical forked-tongue Democrat whom nobody sane should EVER trust.
Let them solve their own problems. Just leave my tax dollars out of it.
Self-determination is one thing. Subsidizing it all but guarantees failure. The goal goes from self government to demanding more money.
Blacks were rapidly closing on whites in living standards when Johnson “fixed” it.
It’s what rat-bastard-communism is all about.

I was thinking about Atlanta. I don’t believe it’s ever had anything but a dim mayor. Sam Massel, was a dim, so was Ivan Allen.
But they were conservative Southern Dimocrats. Big difference.
Hello!!!! Every American city run by Democrats for decades has a problem with murders by their black minorities but the Democrats insist more restrictions or bans for guns. magazines , ownership & of course excessive taxation/permit fees are the answer
They blame white people in general , Republicans in particular especially those who belong to the NRA as the cause of gun violence.
Despite the thousands of gun laws already on the books which are not effective, they are certain more of the same is the answer. They just cannot understand they have been wrong for years & refuse to recognize it is the person wielding a weapon is the target they should focus on instead trampling our constitution.
Who are the people we should be aware of & do something about,
1. Mentally unbalanced or ill individuals should be identified & dealt with even if a determination for commitment be it voluntary or involuntary is the only answer. I know some well intentioned mental health professionals say we must not violate their rights & most shooters are not mentally ill but almost every time a shooting occurs the shooter seems to have a mental problem . Sorry but we need to worry about the possible victims rights not the shooters.
2. Monitor the immigrants coming to this country closely , in particular those from the places where the most radical Islamic factions originate.Why them? I do not think we have to worry a whole lot about other mild religious groups.ist
3. Monitor those extremist home grown groups who are racially intolerant …..White Supremesists , Black Power group s any group which promotes civil disorder
4. We need to identify people who are of a mind to be copycats for sensational Acts of violence , ones who crave the fame associated with the act. The fact is the more sensational the act is the more attention they gather to themselves. The deaths of innocent people or even their own death is not that important.
So how do we start this …….Well I was criticized some time back about a more comprehensive background check or test for mental stability. Make no mistake, thinking nothing adverse to what most of us believe our constitutional rights are will happen is wrong. Being blind to this problem plays right into the Democratic plan to disarm America.I am even more convinced we nee dto be proactive & develop a plan to address the people problem to minimize the wave of gun violence the Democrats & Leftwing media Sensationalize which is one of the reasons copycat acts are on the rise
If you want to keep your guns, want to shoot for recreation, hunt, protect family or yourself……You had better get involved to change the emphasis as who or what is responsible for mass shootings or the Democrats will ultimately prevail.
