The ultimate referee of this fight will be Lachlan Murdoch. In recent months, Rupert’s oldest son has been holding strategy conversations with Fox executives and anchors about how Fox News should prepare for life after Trump. Among the powerful voices advising Lachlan that Fox should decisively break with the president is former House speaker Paul Ryan, who joined the Fox board in March. “Paul is embarrassed about Trump and now he has the power to do something about it,” an executive who’s spoken with Ryan told me. (Ryan did not return a call seeking comment.) But a person more sympathetic to Trump has told Lachlan that Fox should remain loyal to Trump’s supporters, even if the network has to break from the man.

Fox, as should any other network, needs to at least try straight reporting. If they see DJT screwin’ up, tell us. This is, of course, predicated on the premise that all parties who report news would do the same with Dems. Strangely enough, Obama seemed immune to havin’ his missteps pointed out and harped upon.

Denny, you said it best, “go woke, go broke.” Fox won’t got broke, but they will for sure drop some rating points. Who needs another CNN or MSNBC? I remember a few year ago, some publication did an article on Ryan, maybe WaPo or NYT. The photographer got him to pose in his gym clothes with backwards ball cap, sitting on a weight bench curling what looked to be about ten pounds. You could tell he thought he looked fierce; the photographer was probably trying real hard not to crack up. What a weenie!
Paul Ryan is failure as house leader has resulting in losing the house and all these pathetic democrat acts by this particular house, including impeachment.

Our side may own talk radio but Fox News is the last bastion of genuine
balance on network news. I never gave a rats ass about Alan Colmes,
Jerkraldo Rivers, Juan Williams, etc. they were the counterbalance to
the conservative hosts. The Fourth Estate was our Founding Fathers
vision to provide checks and balances against government excesses.
Thet never intended the First Amendment to allow a media monopoly
that would provide cover for one party that includes the systemic
corruption that we are witnessing today.
If Fox New purges the network of conservative hosts, you can be assured
of two things; Their ratings will fall to CNN and MSNBC levels and talk
radio will be the next target. They are an all or nothing power. Like the
Terminator, they will not stop until they destroy every last vestige of
opposition. Their goal is a government with absolute power over the
American people.
Had Felonia von Pantsuit won, she would have appointed two Supreme
Court Justices, and would have thrown the throttle into ludicrous speed
to advanced Ubangi’s socialist agenda to a degree, we cannot begin to
imagine. One thing stood in her way, Donald Trump. President Trump
will survive this latest coup attempt and I have no doubt that he will
be reelected and continue to whittle away at the deep state.
