Still stiff & sore today . . . recovery time from dismantlin trees ain’t what it usedtabe. Found Monsterdawg under the dining room table around 0400 and suggested we go for a walk, but he just laid his head back down and sighed, which I took as a “No.” So I did a small bike ride insteada walkin. No idea why HE’s tired.

Got to ponderin ‘bout an article I read last nite referencing a poll indicating that young people today aren’t much interested in having babies, borders, capitalism, patriotism, religion, or other things which have mostly contributed to this country’s successes.

Makes me wonder if les leftistes have considered the cause-effect of teaching a generation to hate America and then expecting them to defend the place when it becomes necessary. Finally decided on an update of an old saw: Whom the gods would destroy, they first make Democrats.

See . . . when they campaign for higher taxes (which won’t bother them any ‘cuz they’re all zillionaires) . . . when they demand gun control (which won’t affect them ‘cuz they ain’t gonna give up theirs, OR their armed bodyguards) . . . when they advocate more gummint as the solution to all our problems (which won’t cramp their style ‘cuz they don’t play by the same rules we hafta) . . . when they propose multi-trillion giveaway programs (which won’t cost them anything more than what they already pay) . . . they just don’t see that they’re sowing those same crops that caused that li’l kerfuffle back in 1776.

Betcha not a single one of the left-wing PotUS wannabes can name one single thing that government has made cheaper and more efficient. NONE of ‘em seem to realize that nearly all the crime, AND homelessness, problems in this country are a direct result of single-parent families, drugs, the gangs resulting from those two factors, and a sympathetic court system which refuses to do anything about them.

Here’s a li’l list of realities for ‘em to chew on:

Except in very rare cases, abortion is not healthcare, especially for the fetus.

Protecting your borders is not racist, even if you’re under attack by MauMaus.

By themselves, facts are not hateful; only when they’re used out of context.

Anyone who’s read history realizes that Islam is NOT a peaceful organization.

The only thing “fair” about socialism is that everybody is equally miserable.

Making a profit from honest labor or trade is not always greed.

Many good things in life are free, but freedom can be very costly.

Ignorance isn’t necessarily blissful; often it’s expensive and even deadly.

Life is easy only if you’re lucky, and very few of us are.

And their enablers, their propaganda arm, the leftwing media – especially dipwads such as CNN’s Stelter – you know, those blowhard talking heads who like to call themselves journalists, reporters, commentators . . . Sheeesh! Here’s the Democrats’ new symbol:

Problem is that they’re not reporting but propagandizing. They’re not analysts and they’re not commenters in the classic sense, merely political activists operating on the mistaken notion that sensationalizing exaggerations and outright lies about PotUS will increase their viewer base. I saw Shep Smith today almost giddy at the prospect of Trump’s tariff strategy failing and bringing us to deep recession.

So, I’m convinced that turning off the news except for local weather, traffic, and general info and basically minimalizing ALL reporting of shootings, rapes, terrorists, fads, hip-hop, and rap “music” would reduce crime by at least 20% in a coupla years.

NEVER show the pic of a mass murderer or bomber or terrorist. Simply report that a severely damaged person caused deaths or injuries of innocent people because he didn’t get things HIS way in life. Mention the city or region, but no specifics. Local news agencies can post names of people or businesses affected, but nobody gets romanticized or famous or even notorious for it.

By all means say that the shooter or bomber or rapist or whatever was killed, after being castrated with a 7-iron by unidentified citizens, and his body was fed to hogs on a local farm. Report it once. No more. The only people who need to be identified are identity thieves and corrupt politicians. And we got plenty of those. To me, identity thieves are doing the same thing that kidnappers do, so they should get the same punishment.

And I STILL say that the victims or families of victims should have a voice in determining what happens to those who inflict pain or damage or loss or death upon innocents. As for crooks and assholes who have it coming, well . . . that’s another story. In some cases, maybe a certificate of achievement and public gratitude.

But, what do I know. Just that things used to be better when we didn’t focus on bizarre bathroom habits or sexual deviancy or gender confusion and families had meals together and listened to advice from the older generation and got dressed up on Sunday to go to church and socialize with other people instead of getting all their advice from social media and self-promoting talking heads who believe that white people are the cause of all the world’s problems and the US is the source of all international conflict.
