I had lunch with an old girlfriend yesterday. She has a severe case of Trump Derangement Syndrome. She was pretty well behaved until the last ten minutes when she went off on gun control and Trump. She is all upset about Trump being a narcissist while denying that Obungler was. Being a nice guy (much nicer than when we were a couple) I just smiled. As we kissed and parted I said, “Six more years!” She did not take that well.

Just realized that I haven’t ranted for quite some time now. And what better fodder than what happened in the House yesterday with Jackson-Lee, Nadler, and Lewandowski. Tasty pudding!!

In 2016, the Democrats didn’t get their way in the genelec. So despite their leadership’s warning that it’s unpatriotic not to accept the results of an election, they refused to accept the results of the election and decided to rip the country apart, starting with the Electoral College and the Bill of Rights.

For 2 years and 10 months now they’ve indulged themselves in a tantrum, a hissyfit, a permanent 2-yr-old’s rage over the reality that a non-politician who can’t be bought, rented, extorted, intimidated, bribed, or even embarrassed by repeatedly debunked lies about his personal habits has been PotUS and is actually making things work again after 8 years of sand in the gears by his predecessor.

At the core of it all is not that the man is wrong, or inept, or dangerous, or unqualified, or even unethical . . . it’s simply that they don’t like him for having interrupted HRC’s apotheosis. Their only response to his successes with the economy, the in-migration crisis, the trade imbalances, the unemployment stats . . . is “Orange Man Bad!” and “In-peets fo’ty fah!”

The long-term strategy of the Resistance is to concoct scenarios which attract media cameras and microphones to document them hurling whatever pops into their damaged cerebra in hopes some of it will stick on the political wall. And frankly, I think it’s beginning to be a bit wearisome to a growing majority of people who’re seeing healthier paychecks, lower taxes, and fewer parasites sucking the SNAP and Welfare teats.

Yesterday’s House Judiciary Committee “hearing” with Lewandowski was a classic goat-rope, nothing but political commedia dell-arte, an unabashed pandering to the hard-core leftist base who’ve had their panties in a wad for 149 weeks, or 1050 days, or more than 25,000 hours. Damn, that must be a pain in the ass.

They want to impeach Donald Trump – for not being a crook in the classic Clinton mode – or more likely just for being Donald Trump — SO badly that they’ve stopped work on all the problems and issues they were elected to work on and focused all their energies on doing what their leaders have said they don’t want to do – begin impeachment proceedings against a sitting president without ample evidence.

Pelosi has made it very clear that she thinks that the attempt might fail in the first place and that it has NO chance in the Senate, and as it did with Slick, it might even backfire and produce a sympathy vote for DJT a year from now.

Mueller’s report very clearly says that no evidence of collusion exists, AND that there was no obstruction by Trump in his investigation, which was triggered by a bogus dossier and improperly justified FISA warrants. But Jackson-Lee and Nadler sat at their microphones, flashed their sphincters, adjusted their fat rolls, and called attention to the vast emptinesses in their skulls for the cameras.

It’s an addiction with them – and they can’t live without that periodic impeachment fix. Emoluments didn’t work. The 25th Amendment didn’t work. Russia! Russia! Russia! didn’t work. Stormy Daniels didn’t work. The Steele dossier didn’t work. The Mueller report didn’t work. Avenatti didn’t work. Cohen didn’t work. Strzok and Page didn’t work. Comey didn’t work. Pussyhats didn’t work.

God DAMN! You’d think they’d get the freakin message after a while.

But, as with all addicts, they gotta have that “Get Trump!” shot in the arm every month or they dry up and blow away like a popcorn fart in a Texas tornado.

In the meantime, they continue to avoid any negotiation or even discussion on immigration reform, and the only work they pay any attention to is resisting efforts to improve the border security or clean up the disasters in California’s streets or provide funding for the slaughter of babies and feeding of illegals.

No, I tell a lie there – they DO have one more pet project: destroying American industry to promote the Green New Deal and allow emerging nations to burn all the fossil fuels they like while we return to a medieval system of wealthy landowners and vassals eating gruel and riding donkeys.

Jackson-Lee’s mind is locked into “racism” mode, while Nadler is channeling Cap’n Ahab in his demented quest for the white whale of high crimes and misdemeanors. But as Pelosi has told him, “Remember what that whale does to Ahab at the end of the story. Is that what you want to happen?”

Nicely said Ron. I did see some excerpts of the hearing and Lewandowski did some major league trolling of Jerold the Hutt, “President” Swalwell, and Jackson Lee. “I didn’t hear a question, I heard a rant.”
