’70s Aerosmith fan here. Their early material when they did drugs had the best guitars. However, a lot of their live performances were really raw and sloppy. During the ’80s and the MTV thing they went more commercial and by the ’90s when every other song was a ballad there were as many chicks as guys at their shows. Same thing happened to country music.
