This is getting funny. The Rats have gone home until after the Christmas break. The Rats are now saying that he is not impeached yet because they have not sent them forward even though the articles have been posted on the House website. Remember Trump is innocent until found guilty. She is acting like a little spoiled brat. They’re not in charge and they do not like it.
I have read several places that there is a rule or regulation that impeachment in the house must be bi-partisan. That was put in place for exactly the bullshit the Bolshecrat are pulling right now. To keep a majority party in the house from always impeaching a president not of the same party for simply no reason. I dont know if there is such a rule but I read it last week and a couple of times the last few days. Anyone know???

There is no such rule, unfortunately, but several Dems, including Pelosi and Nadler formerly said that impeachment MUST be bi-partisan. They lied, of course.
I should add that Alexander Hamilton in one of the Federalist Papers said that impeachment should never become a partisan process. Unfortunately, that doesn’t have force of law.

Maybe they will hold them as an “insurance policy” until after the election. If Trump loses, no problem. If he wins (and especially if they can keep the House and take the Senate), they can still try to overturn the election.
I believe they discovered that it is true thar if Trump is acquitted he will gain three more years on his first term. He reelection will not occur until 2023. If they don’t send the articles to the Senate Trump can’t be acquitted. McConnell can overcome this gambit by setting a date for the trial requiring the house prosecutors show up to present their case. Either they show up or they don’t, the Senate then votes to acquit thus granting Trump the extra years.

case, is laid out in the Constitution. Amendment 22 clearly
states that if a president is elected twice, he can only serve
2 terms. If he had this fantasy 3-year extension he could
not be eligible for a second term.
Jim, Trump is limited to 8 years total, but it may be possible for the Senate to conduct a trial without the articles being sent over. The constitution says very little about the process of impeachment. It only gives the House the sole power to impeach (Article I Section 2) and the Senate the sole power to try impeachment (Article I, Section 3). Other than a few comments about the Chief Justice presiding, etc., it says very little else.

Thinking about calling my Dem Rep and urging her to demand that Pelosi send the articles over. I did contact her to ask her to vote NO. What a sham this impeachment scam is on the stupid public- the Party Whip is even supporting keeping the articles and you know it was all planned. Our enemies are not stupid- so wondering why this is happening now. As the delay increases Pelosi appears weaker and weaker. If asked about it Pelosi probably will just mumble garbage as usual. She knows full well about impeachment and that she has no power to tell the Senate anything, because she was House Minority Leader during the Clinton impeachment. Did she have to deal with the Squad like factors to get their vote on the USMCA for impeachment? Are her handlers pushing her or threatening her safety. Impeachment is the act of bringing charges, which is what the House did. The House has the sole power of impeachment, as spelled out in Article I, Section 2 clause 5 of the Constitution. The Senate has the sole power to TRY impeachment. Don’t confuse impeachment with conviction and removal (although 90% of our badly-educated populace does).

I got curious about Nancy Pelosi`s home which was said to have a ten foot high wall around it along with armed guards. Soooo I checked out what Fort Pelosi really like.
First the Mansion photos published on the internet show a wall……problem is this is not her home, it is in the same wealthy neighborhood but Nancy`s home does not have a wall around it for security.
There was a protest demonstration on the sidewalk just outside her home recently & in reality the protestors would have had easy access to intrude on her property if they wanted to. I do not believe they actually did.
Second it is true there are armed guards at her home , details concerning how many there are , where they are located & who provides the security personal is murky by design. It is probable this is a government provided service.
So Fort Pelosi is not the impregnable super secure private residence people think it is .
Third when I asked about possible visits by illegal immigrants …….my contacts clammed up with a serious no comment!
I think Pelosi as much as I detest her being Speaker of the House is smart enough to treat her security detail with respect …..not like Crooked Hillary`s documented terrible treatment of her secret service detail.
