It’s that time of year again where my sister, BIL, and I head off to the wilds of Virginia to taste some overpriced Virginia wines. This year we brought along one of my sister’s friends.
It was a beautiful drive up and it’s nice to see that the construction on I-77 through and north of Charlotte NC is finally finished. That’s been a mess as long a we’ve been doing this trip.
So we’re driving up I-81 and we came up on this car.

We were wondering if this was for real or if it was a joke. It was for real. You can’t make it out but there’s a little rainbow flag on the lower right. Oh man! I wish I would have had a MAGA hat so I could have waved it at the driver as we passed. It was a female and I was surprised she wasn’t wearing a pussy hat.
Tonight we ate dinner here.
What did I have I hear you asking? I had the Jager Schnitzel. Yummy. I had a nice Pilsner to go with it.

As a former resident of VA, I dined there about a half-dozen times. I understand the owner/chef worked over at The Inn at Little Washington, and he was well-trained.
Thank God I got the hell out of that Godforsaken state. FWIW I read today that the VA prison budget is being increased in anticipation of incarceration of firearms owners refusing to surrender their weapons. VA is turning into East-coast California.
Thanks for the suggestion but we started eating at the Lafayette Inn last year on the recommendation of a reader who lives near Ruckersville.

Do they realize Trump is still their President whether impeached or not. No change what so ever. He can still keep nominating judges. I kind of doubt that they realize he is innocent until proven guilty.
When you see a vehicle like that call the State Police and report them as weaving all over the road. Tell them the driver is either texting and driving or under the influence. The cops will be on them like stink on shit.
