As I watched the democrats bending over backwards patting themselves on their backs for their ‘great accomplishment’ I also know I am watching their swan song as there is no way on this earth they will retain the majority in the November elections.
I liken the procession to the Senate by the democrats as their holding their own funeral march.
I wonder how Blinky will feel as a back bencher after they lose the majority? While there are the true believers in her party who will cling to the impeachment and accusations of interference to their deaths, there is a larger portion who are pragmatists who will see that these zealots took their party out of power with their obsessive actions and handed the majority to the republicans who will ride the prosperity of Trump through several more election cycles.
There is a price to be paid for overreaching and history will record that Blinky fostered her own demise as speaker by listening to the Schiff for brains side of her party……
