Serious fanboy here. Saw them at the Bay Theatre downtown Green Bay in the mid ’70s when they still looked like skinny teenagers. Neil Peart loved his craft, that’s for sure. He should also be remembered for his lyrics. For many young people, that was their only exposure to libertarian philosophy. The band also had a great sense of humor, and unlike most rock bands which don’t stay together long, it seems they actually enjoyed each other’s company. R.I.P. and thanks, Neil.
a sadness has come over me. i was lucky to see them four times. always great.
I love Temples of Syrinx and Working Man. So sad to see him depart us so early. Rest in Peace Neil Peart
