I’m gonna give it to Congresscritter James Clyburn (Dickhead, SC). My sister and I have our crosses to bear. I live in Georgia which sends Hank “Guam is gonna tip over” Johnson to Congress and she lives in South Carolina which sends James Clyburn to Congress. Clyburn sparred with Neil Cavuto on Fox about the economy.
House Majority Whip James Clyburn dismissed President Trump’s record unemployment lows for black Americans on Tuesday by arguing that slaves were “fully employed,” too.
The South Carolina Democrat weighed in on Mr. Trump’s economy during an appearance on Fox News after host Neil Cavuto said the president had “delivered the goods for a lot of African-Americans” with record-low unemployment.
“Come on, Neil,” Mr. Clyburn responded. “It’s not true.”
Yeah. Who are you gonna believe, facts or a lying Dimocrat hack? And then he said sumpin’ really stupid.
I’m saying that the African-American unemployment is not the lowest it’s ever been unless you count slavery,” the congressman said. “We were fully employed during slavery. So it all depends how you measure this up.”
So the only way we get better numbers for black unemplyment is to go back to slavery? What a booger eatin’ moh-ron. Then he tried to give Obungler and the Dimocrats credit for the economy.
When pressed on whether Mr. Trump deserves any credit for the economy, Mr. Clyburn replied, “I’ll give President Trump credit for continuing what we laid the foundation for back in 2009.”
His comment echoes that of former President Barack Obama, who on Presidents Day credited himself with “paving the way for more than a decade of economic growth and the longest streak of job creation in American history.”
Mr. Trump scoffed at his predecessor’s assertion, calling it a “con job.”
Yeah. That’s like Jimmah Carter trying to take credit for the Reagan economy.
Clyburn you’re an asshole. You’re still behind Hank Johnson but if you work at it you’ll catch him.

I’d like to point out to that dickhead Clyburn that when the Democrats were in charge, we had slavery and Jim Crow. And they’ve been trying to bring it back ever since.
Excellent response , truth is always the best argument & for good measure add in the fact the Democrats embraced the KKK . In the Democratic solid south it was mandatory to belong , support & politically actively take leadership positions in it.

So slavery is “employment”??? The doorknobs in my house is smarter than Clyburn. The sad part is that he is not the dumbest idiot in congress.
The things a bought and paid for minority representative will say to maintain the flow of money into his pocket can and in this case goes to the unbelievable. Clyburn cannot admit the truth because his entire career has been in the grievance industry. To affirm that a non member of this grievance group has made a bigger difference for his constituents is to admit abject failure on both the platform he runs on as well as his own career.
The lack of a meaningful rebuttal leaves this non-genius the only tool left…mention slavery. Textbook response for a black activist who has nothing left to support his position of anti Trump.
