That brings back some memories. My hair stood on end the first time I heard it on our local FM station. Ran out and bought the album the very next day. Still my favorite Black Sabbath tune……
Today’s younger people may think that us “old coots” are past it. But we have:
1. Grown up with the best ’60s and ’70s music,
2. Have tons of that music on LP’s,
3. Have digital turntables to convert LP’s to MP3’s.
We have the best of everything, while they have only hip-hop songs that sound the same, no matter which idiot is singing it, due to the synthesized voices…
…unlike Creedence Clearwater Revival, who sound different than Three Dog Night, who sound different from The Rolling Stones, who sound different from Fleetwood Mac…
Love Black Sabbath. I remember being in class and a fellow student next to me told the teacher he would rather be at home listening to them as his answer for a Q & A the teacher was doing. I went and bought the Album “Paranoid” and cranked up the volume and rocked! Loved them after that.
