AOTW 5-22-2020

So many assholes.

First up is Gropey Joe who just announced to black people that if they dion’t vote for him they weren’t black. Many black people said, “Really? Does that mean if we vote for Trump we’re white? When can we start?” Lots of blacks are really pissed off at Gropey Joe patronizing them. Looks like Gropey Joe is gonna have to select Abrams Tank or Horizontal Harris to recover from this.

Speaking of Horizontal Harris, she is pushing a resolution in the Senate which sez that calling the Kung Flu the Wuhan Virus is racist. Geez! What isn’t racist these days?

And back we go to Michigan where their unhinged AG Dana Nessel is pissed at Trump and Ford. It’s bad enough that they have Whitmer but they have this asshole as well.

Yeah. That’s the ticket. Bring charges against Ford. Maybe they’ll wise up and close some plants in Michigan and move them to red states.

But the winner is this dude from Detoilet who filmed himself beating up white patients in nursing homes.

I wonder if he is black enough to vote for Biden?

It Ain’t My Fault

So sez Governor Vito Cuomo about all the people who died in nursing homes in his state. More people, over 5300, have died in nursing homes in New York than have died in Florida, currently 2145. That’s all of the deaths in Florida. Yet the Fake News Media continues to extol Vito and castigate Governor DeSantis of Florida. They also went after my governor, Governor Kemp for reopening Georgia which currently has 1754 deaths.

But the nursing home debacle ain’t Vito’s fault. It’s Trump’s fault. Isn’t everything?

New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, who ordered nursing homes to take patients from hospitals without testing them for the coronavirus, is now blaming the more than 5,000 nursing home deaths in his state on Donald Trump.

This is not surprising given there are probably going to be a lot of investigations into how and why Cuomo threw a lit match into a gasoline dump by sending coronavirus-positive patients to live in close proximity to seniors who were virus-free.

Hey, they were just old geezers who were prolly gonna vote Republican anyway. And just think of the money this will save Social Security and Medicare.

New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo on Wednesday brushed off calls for the Department of Justice to open an investigation into the massive number of deaths in the state’s nursing homes during the coronavirus pandemic – claiming he was only following guidelines from the Trump administration and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

I was just following orders sez the fascist governor.

While no formal probe has been announced, the speculation comes amid scrutiny of his March 25 directive that required nursing homes to take on new patients infected with COVID-19. The order stated that “[nursing homes] are prohibited from requiring a hospitalized resident who is determined medically stable to be tested for COVID-19 prior to admission or readmission.”

Great call there Vito.

Cuomo issued that directive about the time that liberals had come up with the idea that imposing a “virus stigma” on people was wrong and singling sick people out to get a test for coronavirus might hurt their feelings…or something.

What did the CDC guidelines actually say?

Yeah, let’s hear it.

CDC guidelines require any newly admitted and readmitted resident with a COVID-19 case to be placed in a designated COVID-19 care unit, while those who have met the criteria to have recovered can return to a regular unit in the nursing home. New York – along with California and New Jersey – at the time had specific guidelines saying that nursing homes cannot refuse to take patients from hospitals solely because they have the coronavirus.

When questioned about the deaths in nursing homes and a possible investigation into his role, Cuomo deflected the blame onto the Trump administration’s guidelines and suggested the calls for a probe are politically motivated.

But Cuomo insists he was just following orders.

Of course he was.

“This is a political season, I get it,” Cuomo said. “I’m not going to get into the political back-and-forth, but anyone who wants to ask why did the state do that with COVID patients in nursing homes, it’s because the state followed President Trump’s CDC guidance.”

Cuomo added: “They should ask President Trump. I think that will stop the conversation.”

Yep! It’s Trump’s fault that Vito is an incompetent boob. It’s Trump’s fault that New York is the epicenter of the Kung Flu in the United States. It’s Trump’s fault that Vito and Mayor Wilhelm totally botched the response to the Kung Flu. It’s Trump’s fault that New York has more deaths than the next four highest states combined.

But fear not Vito. The Fake News Media has your back. For some reason, even with your incompetence they are making you out to be some kind of hero.

Ronsday – Cough-19 Epizootic

Ron rants.

O.K. I am now officially convinced that no one, that’s NO FARGIN ONE!!, knows what the hell is going on with the Cough-19 epizootic.

Jay Zeus Haitch Crates, first “it ain’t airborne.” Then “it ain’t contagious.” Then “it ain’t any worse than reg’lar flu.” Then “Holy Shit! We’re all gonna die!”

Then it was “Everybody into the cave! Buy all the toilet paper you can! Drink Clorox and spray your lungs with Lysol. Don’t leave the house – for any reason!” “Trust the doctors . . . NO, not THAT doctor!!”

I’m beginning to believe some of the conspiracy theories I’ve been readin about Soros and Gates and Thunbergites and all the rest who want to completely do away with fossil fuels, reduce planet human population by at least 80%, and keep everybody except nurses and truck drivers huddled in their homes, in perpetuity.

This mornin I read the interview by Neil Cavuto with a doctor who called him a mucking foron for saying “you will die” from taking hydroxychloriquine. Go here

So then I toasted a bagel and started readin articles on how many people have died and which doctors say it works and which don’t and on and on and on. What’d I learn??? That Nobody freakin knows. NOBODY!

Best I can come up with is that, much like with many other medications, certain people should not use the stuff . . . like some people can’t use penicillin and some can’t handle ibuprofen, and my wife for example can’t use simvastatin, but she can use atorvastatin. I, for example, don’t tolerate codeine well, and hydrochlorothiazide damned near totally wrecked my kidneys.

Apparently certain types of blood disorders and heart issues make chloroquine in any form dangerous, even lethal. And nobody should ever take powerful drugs without first talking it over with their doctors.

Now, yes . . . some doctors will prescribe it just on request, same as a whole lotta docs did with the opioids (which killed grunches of people after a while). And not every doc sees every aspect of every patient’s health every time. Mistakes happen.

But as soon as DJT says he’s usin the stuff as a prophylaxis, the left turns it into a political weapon. Only problem I see with it – since he’s regularly checked out by the best medical staff available on the friggin planet – is that his endorsing it as a preventive will cause a run on it, thus depriving lupus and severe arthritis and malaria patients access to it. AND, drive the price up.

“It’ll take two years, at least, to develop and trust a vaccine.” Followed immediately by “Reports suggest that we will have a working, tested, affordable treatment by Christmas.”

And then, “The only way to handle this is if everyone wears a mask and stays home.” Followed immediately by, “The quarantine cure will wind up killing more people and ruining more lives than the disease.”

I’m tellin ya, guys . . . you ask 5 doctors what to do about this crap and you’ll get 8 different answers. Nobody freakin knows squat. But I do know this – you keep this country shut down and the economy on hold much longer, and we’ll slide right by recession and into depression.

And you run one more multi-trillion “relief” package out requiring the printing of trainloads of currency backed by absolutely NOTHING, and in a few years it’ll take a dump truck full of Franklins to buy a friggin potato. What I DON’T know is if that’ll be before or after the revolution.

I’m gonna go to YouTube and find some old comedy skits to watch ‘til the sun comes up, then I’m gonna go edge the driveway and sidewalk . . . anything to clear my mental palate of the drecch I find on the news these days. I mean, hell . . . I never cared for Cavuto, and never watched him, but I got the impression that a lotta Fox viewers placed great trust in him. And now he comes up with “That stuff’ll kill you!” ??? Mucking anti-Trump foron.

Yannow, when Ron and I were in the Navy and we were serving in the tropics we took a drug similar to chloroquine (if not chloroquine itself). All I remember is it was a form of quinine and we took it to prevent us from getting malaria. Some guys refused to take it because it gave them the shits but I had no side effects from it whatsoever. Geez! If we come up with a vaccine and Trump recommends it, the Dimocrata and the Fake News Media will come out against it.

Ole and Sven were drinking buddies who worked as aircraft mechanics in Minneapolis and one day the airport was fogged in and they were stuck in the hangar with nothing to do.

Ole said, “I vish ve had somethin ta drink!”

The phone rang. It was Sven who asks “How iss you feelin dis mornin?”

Ole says, “I feel great. How bout you?”

Sven says, “I feel great, too. Ya don’t have no hangover?”

Ole says, “No dat jet fuel iss great stuff — no hangover, nothin. Ve oughta do dis more often.”

Sven agreed.”Yeah, vell, but dere’s yust vun ting.”

Ole asked, “Vat’s dat?”

Sven questioned, “Haff you farted yet?”

Ole stopped to think. “No ”

Elon Musk

Has Elon Musk seen the light? He opened his Tesla factory in Fremont California in defiance of the lock down. And over the weekend he tweeted the following:

Can he really mean it?

Remember one of Robert Conquest’s Three Laws of Politics. Everyone is a conservative about what he knows best.

I’ll believe Musk has taken the red pill when he closes his factory in California and moves it to a red state like Texas. We’ll see what happens when the pandemic blows over. Until then I’ll take whatever he sez with a grain of salt.
