I love a story with a happy ending.
MARSHVILLE, N.C. —Union County deputies say a 25-year-old man was killed after he broke into a home in Marshville.
Investigators said Robby Blount kicked in the door of the home around 1 a.m. Thursday, wearing a mask and waving a gun.
Deputies said a woman and her son were in the home. One of them called 911, while the other got a shotgun and shot Blount once in the chest, killing him.
Investigators have not yet identified the woman or her son, nor said which one fired the fatal shot.
Whichever one did, done good. No trial. No appeals. I guess it would be racist of me to point out that the perp was black. I wonder if Obungler will say that if he had a son it would look like this dude?
If I had a son he would look like the shooter. Oh, wait. I do.
How about the woman in VA. who fought off an attacker armed with a knife in her bathroom, was chased into the bedroom where she picked up a .22 cal pistol and shot her attacker nine times. He ran to the back yard where he was Dead right There. If she lived in NY she would have been limited to seven bullets which might not have been enough. She was a black woman defending herself against an armed attack. An armed citizen, not a victim.
As long as citizens are armed, violent crime will carry an element of risk.
When seconds count, the police can arrive in minutes.
I keep a loaded fire extinguisher in my kitchen for the same reason I keep a loaded gun in my bedroom. The average response time to a 911 call is 20 minutes.
Anyone heard about the Oregon woman who was choked and raped following a 911 call to police.
Quote the dispatcher: “I don’t have anybody to send out there. You know, obviously, if he comes inside the residence and assaults you, can you ask him to go away? ”

You can’t make this shit up. Hell, even the SNL writers couldn’t make it up.
Look for the Contemptible (as declared by the U.S. House of Reps, as well as most right-thinking Americans) Shyster General Ambulance Chaser to indict this lady and her kid on grounds of racism, hate crime, various and sundry weapons charges, and firing a weapon within city limits, to cite just few.
Hope there is a ‘castle’ law in NC.
And this is why I have a .45, a Glock 9, an M-1, and a Remington Street Sweeper in my home. The .45 or the Glock are almost always on me, or within grabbing distance.
