Well denny, I’m even MORE ashamed of the “Law Enforcement” across this country who spit on their very oath of office to the Constitution to enable this traitor and the thousands more like him at ALL levels of government.
My feelings exactly. Very well said Denny. Proud of all the Americans who gave their lives fighting for our freedom. Very ashamed of this worthless, corrupt government on all levels. You said it best, elections have consequence’s.
Guess I have a slightly different view. I’m very proud of our country, but don’t see pride in gov’t as much of an issue.
I’m disappointed, and hopping up and down angry at the current administration and it’s policy initiatives, but it will pass. Guessing enough people will join me to make 2014 a significant rebuke to the party of the current administration

Despite all the Bull Shit scandals and the blatant lies by his highness the POTUS his ratings in the polls (according to most MSM, even FoxNews) hovers above 50%.
WHY?
Because far too many Americans are not only too stupid to know they’re stupid but many (mostly under 35 years old) could care less about government. They are from a generation who exist in their own bubble universe connected by twitter and e-mails to others of their ilk. Wars, scandals, corruption, killings, tsunamis, etc don’t exist in their universe. They’re only abstract miasma in a world beyond their diamond studded ear-buds connected to their iPad.
Obummer knows the combination of African-American & Latino ghetto bottom feeders and the clueless white drones are insignificant when it comes to pushing back against his radical Socialist agenda. They either see free goodies promised by “The One” or they see nothing.
The real and dangerous threat to Socialism are those more mature folks who’s lives have been forged by the crucible of scraping for the bare essentials, like food, housing and the funds for their children’s higher education. Those are the Tea Party activists, the Conservative, religious and small business owners who are the threat and he’s doing everything (legal, illegal and immoral) to destroy that threat. He lies knowing everyone knows he’s lying but folding his tent and walking away isn’t in his rule book.
It’s gonna have to come down to an end-all struggle and lots of people are gonna suffer. Yet, the longer this drama goes on the better his chances are of being Emperor of America.
I’m not ashamed of my government. I like my government. It’s all the bureaucrats that ruin things that I despise.
