“If you like your doctor, you can keep him.  If you like your health plan, you can keep it.”  Do y’all remember when Jug Hussein Ears Downgrade said that?  He said it many many times.  Those of us with more than two functional brain cells (which eliminates the majority of Obungler voters) knew that it was bullshit back then, and now those uninformed Oblunder voters are finding out that it is bullshit now.

State insurance regulators say many people who buy their own health insurance could get surprises this fall: cancellation notices because their policies aren’t up to the basic standards of President Barack Obama’s overhaul.

But he promised.

These people, and some small businesses, will have to find replacement plans _ and that has some state officials worried about consumer confusion.

Remember Max Baucus, who wrote the freaking thing said it was gonna be a train wreck. Great job of writing the bill Max, you hypocritical asshole!

The changes don’t seem to square with one of the president’s promises: “If you like your health care plan, you’ll be able to keep your health care plan.”

And you believed him?

But supporters of the overhaul are betting that consumers won’t object once they realize that the new coverage they will get is better than current bare-bones plans.

Ya see, the gummint knows what’s best for you.  Even if you were happy with your bare bones plan, the gummint isn’t and will force you to buy a plan that they want you to buy which will cost more money.  Isn’t that special?  And this is one of their talking points.

And guess which gummint agency is gonna make sure you do what the gummint wants?  The IRS.  Doesn’t that give you a warm and fuzzy feeling.  Remember, the IRS is not bound by that silly due process thingy in the Constitution.  With the IRS you are guilty until proven innocent and the burden of proof is on you.  Let’s say you decide not to buy any insurance and refuse to pay the fine.  The IRS could garnishee your wages, take your car, or take your house.  How do you like them apples?

And this brings up another little tidbit.  Obummercare reminds me of light.  As I learned in physics, sometimes light acts like a wave and sometimes it acts like a particle (photon).   The gummint mandating that everyone buys health insurance is similar.   Is this a fee or a tax?  Chief Justice Roberts says it’s a tax, but most of us think it’s a fee.  So which is it?

And talk about karma.  Many goonions (union members) are finding out that they’ll lose their health care plans due to Obummercare.  But Obeauzeau promised.  Dudes!  His lips were moving.  That’s how you can tell he’s lying. Other goonions are finding out that they’ll have to pay a tax because they have a Cadillac plan.     You guys who supported Oboner and the Dimocrats are now gonna get the shaft just like the rest of us.  Welcome to the party assholes!  Miss Karma is a bitch.
