A Dimocrat Congresscritter sez “it’s not fair” to subject Congress to Obummercare. Link from Ron.

When the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (“Obamacare”) was being debated, proponents were accused of saddling Americans with inferior and expensive health care while keeping generous coverage for themselves at taxpayer expense. To rebut that allegation and build confidence in the bill, a provision was added mandating that members of Congress – and their staff members – get their coverage through the new exchange system the bill set up. Now that the time to sign up for exchange coverage is nearing, a Democratic member, Rep. John Larson (D., Conn.), is saying that “this is simply not fair” – as key staff members head for the exits to avoid Obamacare.

But it’s just fine to saddle the rest of this country to this abomination that will destroy the finest healthcare in the world.

Politico reports that “many on Capitol Hill fear it could lead to a brain drain” and notes that “[t]he problem is far more acute in the House, where lawmakers and aides are generally younger and less wealthy.”

A brain drain? Are you fucking kidding me? A brain drain? What brains? Ex-Speaker Blinky” “We have to pass the bill toi find out what’s in it.”

Can you imagine the howls from the LSM if Michelle Bachman had said this?

Brain drain? If that’s the case we need to drain some of these “brains” out of Congress.

What? Obamacare disproportionally hurts those with lower incomes? It may come as a surprise, but it shouldn’t. We’ve known this since before the legislation even passed.

More to the point, why did Rep. Larson vote to impose on the country a health coverage system that “is simply not fair”?

Because he’s a  liberal progressive rat bastard commie? Or maybe he’s just a typical Dimocrat hack. Or he’s one of those public “servants” who thinks he’s better than the rest of us. He gets a great salary for working less than the average American. He also gets a fantastic retirement plan that will allow him to live in luxury the rest of his life. And let’s not forget all of the bribes and other perks he’s received from lobbyists. And then after he retires, he can get a job with those same lobbyists. Screw us rubes! He’s a member of the ruling class so he deserves to get a better salary, a better retirement, and better healthcare than the rest of us.
