Saw this test over at Daily Pundit. For the record, I scored 45 which pretty much bolsters my claim that I’m a small “l” libertarian.

Got a 64 on it. Still a little ‘l’ libertarian, but I have been told I espouse my views a little too much.
I scored: “46”….Means: Your libertarian credentials are obvious. Doubtlessly you will become more extreme as time goes on.
I guess denny and I think along the same philosophical lines.
Perfect Boobage & Government included!
But then again, most government workers are perfect boobs.

A sixty-one sounds about right for me. The study says I’m probably self-conscious but that sure ain’t the case. Also says I may be told I talk too much, which don’t seem to be the case. Five years ago I might’ve scored a point or two lower and I don’t really expect to see an upward change in the next five years. It’d worry me if I thought I was turnin’ into a large “L” libertarian.

Yup, I’ve seen folks run when they see me heave into sight.
56. A good spot IMHO
I’m with Billy Ray. I got a 56 also. And my wife keeps telling me to stop with the politics, already. There is little to no 1st Amendment in my house, except when she is talking about anything. Which is constantly.
47 points. I scored a little low to be hard core. I do believe that there are legitimate functions for government and I support those. I do not support a government that tries to tell me how many bullets may fit in my guns or how many MPG my car should get. I cannot support a government that says that I need a license to use dynamite on my own property. What? Are they worried that I might use it to blow up school full of kids? Only a liberal progressive would do a thing like that. Or so current history has proven.
50 here. Agree on your points, Roger. On the questions that were about absolutes (the last section) where it stated “ALL gov’t”, etc. I had to choose “no”. I would have liked an option of “some” gov’t. Heck, I’m not an anarchist. Gummint has a role, and that is “limited”, which it hasn’t been for a hella long time, that’s for sure.
Scored 73. That’s what working several decades for the federal government and seeing it from the inside will do to you if your eyes are open wide.
78, but I still refuse to believe in the “Noble Savage”.
Cheers
56 as well. Odd that the three of us scored exactly the same.
Just curious, but as a retired gentleman, how’d you come down on the Medicare questions, Denny? That might be the difference. I feel we see fairly eye to eye. Not a big point difference, but I am curious if that is the margin.
Thanks for the link. Interesting quiz.
Pip
As a retired person on Medicare, I had to say that I’m for it. Now, after saying that, if the gummint had completely left the health care system alone and had kept the lawyers from driving up costs, I, even as a retiree, would be against Medicare. Growing up, we had no health insurance, but we got along fine. A doctor visit was $5. That’s right. $5 with no health insurance. My father had a bad car accident in 1968, that eventually led to his death. The medical bills didn’t financially kill my mother ($5000, about $2000 more than the price of a new car), but this was before the lawyers had driven up malpractice insurance and had driven doctor bills sky high and forced them to practice defensive medicine.
If that isn’t the clearest and best answer I have seen in years, I don’t know what is. Liars err lawyers are destroying our entire system, and not just health.
BTW, scored 88.Maybe I should lighten up a tad. Or not. I am with you 100% on the medicare questions. We need them, we shouldn’t need them though.
Hmmmm. 111
Now I feel bad that I didn’t get a perfect score.
Okay I admit I fudged a little on some of the answers and said yes when I would have picked maybe if it had been an option.
66 .

I believe that some government is a necessary evil to provide a counterbalance to those who would do evil.
Brad – I agree. We used to have that type of gummint. The gummint defined by the Constitution. Alas, our ruling class has decided that the Constitution is an impediment to their socialist utopia. Alas, the Supreme Court agrees with them as well and has been chipping away at the Constitution little by little, bit by bit, by reading things into it that aren’t there but that they think should be, like abortion. I see nothing in the Constitution about that. Likewise, gay marriage. Nothing about that in there either. We’re doomed!
Nothing about marriage at all unless yo uare like me and view it as a 1st ammendment right of religion which congress shall make no law regarding…
Or, play the Chesterson Democracy of the Dead card?
How loosie goosie you wanna go?
92 without apology.
Dudley1….42
LOL. I just get a charge out of reading about anything Liberaltarian anymore…
1-5 points: You have a few libertarian notions, but overall you’re a statist.
6-15 points: You are starting to have libertarian leanings. Explore them.
….
160 points: Perfect! The world needs more like you.
In Ronulan PaulTard World, according to this “test,” anyone scoring less than 50 is more of a small “s” statist than, of which, the “perfect” test score is an Anarchist sitting over on the Left with the other 0-5 point scorers.
So glad to be a Conservative, and no, not the Progressive shit in the GOP (McCain, Graham, Rubio, Fred Upton, etc.,) who has co-opted the term “conservative” to mean anything under the sun in District of Corruption.

I always rack up a 94 on this one. I doubt that you’re surprised, right?
