If a Republican were president, Edward Snowden would be declared a hero. Think Daniel Ellsberg, a darling of the left who leaked the Pentagon Papers. Daniel Ellsberg himself supports Snowden.
I think there has not been a more significant or helpful leak or unauthorized disclosure in American history ever than what Edward Snowden shared with the Guardian about the NSA—and that definitely includes the Pentagon Papers.
Since we have a liberal progressive rat bastard commie in the White House the liberals progressives rat bastard commies are confused as to whether Snowden is a hero or a traitor.
He is a hero. But of course, all the usual Rhinos are calling for his hanging. The same POS Rhinos that gave us the un-Patriot act and NDAA.
As I said in the other thread, this week’s asshole is a Clapper.
There are some things that even the american public does not have a need to know. The CIA and the NSA have been intercepting our electronic communications for forty years that I know of. There are very good reasons for governments to have secrets. We can not keep the enemy from knowing secrets if we put them out in to the public domain. I don’t trust the Obama as far as I could throw it with a catapult, but I admit that in these times the government has a right gather intelligence where ever it can find it. If this turns out to be misused by the Dems I will be the first to call for Obama’s head on a pike. Until that time the NSA leaker is guilty of treason. Hanging is the prescribed punishment for traitors. Now we hear that he might be inside the PRC. Terminate him with extreme prejudice .
The treason is clear, and it is by Clapper and his herd. This is an ABJECT violation of the 4th Amendment. But then who needs that steenkin’ oath of office to the Constitution anyway?
How many of you calling this guy a hero called for that ‘wikileaks twinkie’s’ head?
Both have done the same thing. Both deserve the same return.
Like the previous comment, this (spying on us) is not a new deal.
Jim – I agree with you. That’s the point of my post. In my first line of the post I stated, “If a Republican were president, Edward Snowden would be declared a hero.” He’s every bit as much of a traitor as Bradley Manning.
So exposing treason against the 4th Amendment is now treason?
So far they have only read the envelope, they have not read the letter. Your forth amendment rights are intact. Once they open the letter , without a warrant, and read the contents, then we can talk about your rights to privacy in your person and papers.
PS. Violating any of our rights is not treason. It is stupid and unlawful, but it is not treason.

And when the filthy maggot swill has sworn an OATH to the Constitution, and then spits on that oath, it damn sure IS treason. May every one of them burn in hell where they belong.
“United States” in the Constitutional definition of treason, by the way, is NOT the Federal Government. Nor do the “enemies” aided have to be shooting at Mere Citizens. The document is written in English, not legalese. It does NOT have to be parsed by a lawyer. And it is NOT a “living” document except to the extent that it is officially amended in accordance with the documented procedures.
