It saddens me deeply that so many blacks/coloreds/African-Americans/whatever/etc. are so miserable and unhappy in our country. I would gladly sponsor one and pay for his/her fare for a slow boat back to Africa, where they will no longer have to deal on a daily basis with the legacy of slavery, and where they can truly be free. I only want what’s best for them.
Sadly any of your returnees would wander around in their new land looking for the welfare office, food stamp outlet and the housing department until they starved to death. I wonder how many Afro Americans realize that 95% of all slaves brought to this hemisphere never came to America …they went to South & Central America as well as the Caribbean.There were some 12,000,000 slaves brought to this hemisphere only some 600,000 landed in the American colonies with the vast majority of these during the British rule over the American colonies
I wonder if they are aware the Slave ships were owned the British, French. Spanish , Dutch , Portugal & Denmark. The English alone transported 25% of the slaves about 3,000,000 to the Americas. The Portuguese sent at a minimum 4,860,000 million slave to Brazil to some estimates as high as 11,000,000.
The ignorance of Afro Americans as to the truth about the Slave Trade is appalling but works well to maintain the racist beliefs & loyalty of the Democratic welfare core base.
Yup, I homeschool and I’ve seen slave trade maps in kids’ books and on the internet showing one arrow going from the west coast of Africa straight to Florida with absolutely no indication of the more heavily trafficked routes to the Caribbean, Central and South America. And of course, there’s no mention that the vast majority of the slave trade to the Americas occurred before the 13 colonies declared their independence and formed their own country. This is by design, of course, and is meant to fuel White Guilt.
