WILMINGTON, Del., (CBS) — Police say a priest was carjacked in front of a Wilmington church Wednesday morning.
The priest moved his SUV in order to open up the church’s food pantry for the neighborhood. Apparently, that was the opportunity the armed suspect waited for to strike.
Franciscan priest Paul Williams, 62, is grateful to be alive.
“It was indeed a terrifying moment … I feel violated to be honest with you,” he said.
Wilmington Police say 19-year-old Deiondre Travis didn’t travel very far with the stolen SUV.
I wonder if Obongo was Deiondre Travis thirty-five years ago? There is a reason that door locks click when a driver spots a black male. Black males are far more likely to carjack than any other democraphic.

That could amount to another column for Leonard Pitts or Eugen Robinson to write about. Just about 4 of every five of their columns are about race and the poor, picked on black people. I do not dislike all black people at all, at all. My family and I are white. But I have a black son-in-law who is one of the finest men I have had the privilege to know.
Scottiebill – Pitts was in the running for AOTW because of yet another racist column containing lies about the St. Trayvon of Skittles shooting. Zimmerman should be given a medal for ridding the world of a gangsta wannabe who would have prolly gone on to a life of crime and an early death from drinking lean. Maybe if his mother had done a better job of raising him he wouldn’t have been suspended from school for the third time and have been 200 miles away from his mother’s house visiting his father’s girlfriend in Sanford. Rather than blaming Zimmerman, maybe she should take a good look at her parenting skills. Oh yeah. She’s a member of the victim class and it is never their fault when they or their children fuck up. Scream racism and blame whitey. That’s all they know how to do and they are enabled by the Black Grievance Industry and the LSM, the propaganda arm of the Dimocrat Party. Once again, pointing this out makes me a racist. Truth = racism.
We’ve come a long way. When I was a kid the church doors were never locked and the poor box was on the wall just inside the door.
