This Guy Gets It

Wow! Just wow! Now this is a true example of speaking truth to power. This guy takes on the Black Grievance Industry. Just like only Nixon could go to China, it will take a black man to oppose the Black Grievance Industry and point out the dysfunction in the black community and what it will take to fix it. Take a few moments to listen to this dude. Too bad he’s on CNN so nobody will hear this.

OMFG! He agrees with Bill O’Reilly! And sez O’Reilly doesn’t go far enough!

Of course, a member of the Black Grievance Industry, on their flagship station, MSNBC, has called him “a turn coat mofo”. I worked with a black man who used to go to the inner city schools telling black children how to get ahead. He was very frustrated since they viewed him as an Uncle Tom. He told me that he was offering a hand to pull them up and all they wanted to do was pull him down. I guess this woman would also call him a “turn coat mofo”.

But let’s look at some of his points.

5. Pull your pants up. Really! I don’t want to see your underwear. You look stupid. It even looks dumber when whites do it. It’s prison garb and if it’s real low, that makes you a prison bitch.

4. Quit using the word “nigger”. It’s bad when whites use it and it’s equally bad when blacks use it. Hell, it’s even worse when blacks use it. ‘Nuff said.

3. Don’t litter. Did ya see the big rally in Chicago after Jug Hussein Ears Downgrade got elected? When the people left it looked like a dump with all of the litter laying around. Contrast that to a Tea Party rally, where the people pick up their trash and put it in trash receptacles. Odd that conservatives take better care of the planet than liberals do.

2. Stay in school. This is one of the three rules GOC has for staying out of poverty. Get a high school diploma. With the state of gummint schools today that can’t be very hard. Prime example is Zimmerman trial star witness Rachel Jeantel. She’s made it all the way to the eleventh grade without learning how to read cursive. Prolly can’t read printed stuff very well either. Granted, she’s nineteen years old and should have already graduated, but if a stupid illiterate like her can make it all the way to the eleventh grade without learning how to read cursive, how hard can school be?

And upon graduating, go to college. If you can’t afford it, there are always community colleges and technical schools that are more affordable. Still can’t afford it? Try the military. I learned electronics in the Navy and used the GI Bill to go to college. That got me a job with IBM. 31.5 years later, I retired with a big house, a nice nest egg, and an income from a pension and investments. Not bad for someone who flunked out of college the first time he went to it.

1. Don’t have children you can’t afford. How hard is that? That’s also one of GOC’s three rules to avoid poverty. There was a Food Stamp snafu down in Macon Georgia a few months back. One of the people interviewed was a black woman with fourteen (!) kids who said, “Who’s gonna feed my babies. Someone has to take responsibility for this.”

Huh? WTF? Here is a prime example of irresponsibility and entitlement mentality. She made a poor decision fourteen times and now I’m responsible for her actions. This is bullshit.

Just recently there was some bimbo protesting against McDonald’s demanding a $15 minimum wage. She had already downloaded one kid that she was carrying in a sling saying McDonald didn’t pay a liveable wage and she couldn’t afford to support her baby. Why did you have it then, you stupid cow?

This segues in to my third rule for avoiding poverty. Develop a work ethic. Make yourself worth more than minimum wage. That means you may have to suffer a minimum wage (or less) job to pick up skills that will make employers willing to pay you more than minimum wage. I’ve mowed lawns, raked leaves, shoveled snow, cleaned gutters and done other menial jobs. I learned how to get to work on time among other things.

But back to his #1. I could eliminate most poverty within two generations. Yannow how? Simple. If a woman goes on welfare, she gets sterilized. If she wants me to take responsibility for her actions, she needs to quit having children she cannot afford. What about the men? Same thing. If a man has multiple baby mommas that he cannot or will not support, he gets a vasectomy. Simple solution. Problem solved. Too bad it won’t happen because these women think it’s their right to have all of these children. So where does it say that I have to support them?

Anyway, this guy has some good talking points. Unfortunately, just like Bill Cosby talking about how blacks spend more on basketball shoes than they do on books or educational materials, he will be derided as a traitor to his race and what he said will fall on deaf ears.

  1. Denny, you need to take those Rules to Avoid Poverty and etch them in stone. I believe what you’re saying–I believe in it. You need to sticky those rules on your site. Most (or all) of the people I know who live in poverty have broken most of all of these rules. As usual, you’re right Denny.

P.S. I’m shooting you an e-mail tonight, Denny. Please be on the lookout for it.

    • Marksman – I’ve written about this many times and posted the rules many times. Claudia printed them off and gave them to her children prolly to give them to their kids. Thomas Sowell and Walter Williams have written about them as well and the rule they added was wait until 21 to get married and get married before having kids. 95% of the people who follow those simple rules escape poverty.

  2. Each time you post these, I think that they should be taught in public schools from about 3rd on. I used to hear the same basic things in my home when I was growin’ up, and some of my friends’ parents weren’t bashful about mentioning similar thoughts when I was around them.
As big an idiot as I was in high school, I still managed to graduate with the minimum number of credits, and when I got a chance to leave my first minimum-wage job for something that paid better and was a foot in the door at a better place to work, I sure was glad I had that H.S. diploma that was a requirement for getting hired.
I ain’t retired yet, but I’m still stickin’ money away in three different places and Momma has a small Roth IRA. If all that ain’t enough, at least I can say I tried to take care of myself and my family.

  3. I guess the “Black folk” shoulder chips teetered a bit when Mr. Lemon (one of their’s) scolded them for their ignorant lifestyle.

The truth hurts, but if you learn by your mistakes and are willing to accept the truth it’ll set you free.

Somehow I fear it’s too late.

  4. Denny;
The real tragedy is that the elected leader of our country is not leading. In fact he and his appointed czars are actively working to make things worse through thoughts words and deeds.
I was disappointed when the obungler was first elected, but had hopes that he could or would be a shining example to the black community for education, and work. Sadly, all he has done is make things worse. Much worse. He has the bully pulpit and uses it to expand the welfare state and vilify those that excel at any value added occupation. In time, history will show, if this country survives long enough, that Barry Soetero / Obungler was not only the worst president this country ever had, but also directly contributed heavily to the reasons for our problems.

  5. Welfare Entitlement?
I personally believe everyone on welfare is entitled to the same advantages & perks in life as I have ….for that matter they are entitled to everything Denny enjoys in his retirement. Entitlement is a much maligned & misunderstood concept , one where we say everyone is entitled to freedom with all the choices it offers but draw the line when it comes to the advantages & perks a person can accumulate in living the American dream to many of the welfare class.

Where entitlement is misunderstood …… to me entitlement means everyone in this country is entitled not to be just be given these advantages & perks ……. everyone on welfare is entitled to the same advantages as we more fortunate have as long as they who want to achieve realize they are entitled to make the same choices or decisions as we did to prepare for & work to earn the privileges they are so envious of.

An important thing all welfare entitlement disadvantaged Americans need to understand……. it is not racist to post this, millions of people of every ethnicity have achieved success in America by following Denny`s rules for success, in fact none of them ever knew of or heard about Denny`s rules. It is just that hard work, an education, living within ones means & not handicapping ones opportunity for success with children one cannot afford is the only proven way to succeed.

Living off of the hard work of someone else is a parasitic life, no parasite has ever been of an advantage to or improved the life of the host whose blood they drain to survive . The reality is the host will eventually die, so will the parasite he has been feeding.
You feel entitled to & want to live the American dream? ….Well I agree, you are entitled to go & get it, it is just that you are not entitled to have me or anyone else work & earn it for you.You are responsible for the level of success you attain in life.
Opportunity is not entitlement , but you are entitled to take advantage of & use opportunity, you might even become so successful you will become wealthy. …..Maybe even become an evil Republican capitalist providing opportunities that others are entitled to take advantage of & achieve success just like we & now you have done.

  6. Denny – I not only printed your “Three Rules To Avoid Poverty” and shared them with my sons, I also put them in my will for my grandsons. They will get a sum of money ONLY if they have completed High School, unmarried, with a few summer jobs, and are taking further studies leading to productive work, NOT belly-button gazing.

I went back to your past posts (May 2003, January 2004…and more). But the new format does not show the numerous comments your readers have written on the subject. We were all so impressed by the simple but no-fail program you offered. Thank you again!

    • Claudia – When I migrated to Word Press, I told the person doing the migration that she didn’t have to migrate my comments (there were over 10,000 of them) which is why they are gone.

  7. I have a better idea. Start in Detroit and tell everyone who wants it that you will give them welfare, food stamps, Medicaid and all other forms of public assistance FREE FOR LIFE. In return they get sterilized, can’t ever leave the city and forfeit their right to vote. I’ll bet people will be moving there in a heartbeat to sign up for the deal.
