I saw the following video over at The Blogmocracy. Just remember, the environmental movement has been taken over by the rat bastard commies. They want our country and our economy to fail. They would be happy for the rest of us to go live in caves. Meanwhile, they would live like Pope Albert I of the Church of AGW who uses the same amount of electricity in just one of his mansions in a month as a family of four does in a year. I’ll start worrying about global warming climate change when the people worried about it start acting like they are and lead by example. Won’t happen.
The rat bastard commies at Moveon.org are against fracking as well. That should tell you all you need to know. I just got an email from them yesterday to sign an anti-fracking petition. I replied that they are a bunch of luddites and should go live in a cave somewhere.
Just like we get to observe socialism versus capitalism in action like North Korea versus South Korea. Or back before the Berlin Wall fell, East Germany versus West Germany, we can now observe fracking versus not fracking between two states side by side. New York is against it. Pennsylvania is for it. Wonder which state will have the better economy?

Hydraulic Fracturing was not invented by the oil industry. It has been used for years by the water drilling folks for years to rejuvenate water wells. While the processes are different, the idea is the same. Fracture the rock in the well to allow more fluid to migrate into the well. The Green bigots have merely focused on it because they don’t want any oil taken out of the ground. To them, cheap oil means that their Unicorn farts dreams of an oil free world will be relegated to the scrap heap of stupid ideas.
I consider myself a drinking water expert after 37 years in the field. Fracking takes place at thousands of feet. Typical water wells are a few hundred. If the well casing is properly drilled and constructed there is no “fracking” way it contaminates well water. In Ohio, the state EPA and DNR have come up with common sense regulations on fracking to ensure that the drilling mud and additives are contained and properly treated. OTOH the USEPA initially (the Gasland in Texas case) made false claims about the dangers of fracking, but had to back down after a REAL scientific study was done.
Dr. Ames invented the Ames Test for carcinogenicity. He has repeatedly said the test has been misused in shameful ways to scare hell out of people.
The anti-frackers are most emphatically NOT concerned about the environment. Its the same old shit – they want to completely kill petroleum production in the US.
