Now, a metal version of Vivaldi’s Summer which was sent to me by Claudia.
She’s only 14 years old! I’ve seen her play Eddie Van Halen’s Eruption on YouTube. The only knock I have against her is that she doesn’t show any emotion, especially on Eruption. See for yourself. If I could play half as well as she can I’d be sporting a shit eating grin.
She has kind of a bored expression that reminds me of Leslie Winkle on The Big Bang Theory. But she can play.
In the first one, perhaps, but then she’s also got headphones on. In the 2nd one, it looks like concentration and pride.
Good for her. The only thing I can do with a guitar is that trick that Townshend did, you know, the overhead smash.
She is very young and very good. She is doing her best not to look like a kid, and also not to look like a know it all. So she is not really spontaneous and doesn’t show her feelings. But can she play? Yes, sir!
Let’s hope she sticks with it and does well. Great stuff, thanks for bringing it back Denny.
If one didn’t know how hard it was to do that they would think they could walk up and play that with ease. That’s how easy she makes it look.

Denny, she’s not showing much emotion because of the intense concentration required to play at this level. I know from experience that when you’re that focused, the world disappears.
Screaming Eagles, forever.
Watch Eddie Van Halen playing at this level. He doesn’t look bored. Or Glenn Tipton of Judas Priest. Likewise. If she’s gonna be a pro, she needs to develop some stage presence.
This girl is great be it 14 or 50 years old. The lack of expression is from the intense concentration; the look of boredom is because she is from France.
