Weird Letters

So as I was reading the Atlata Urinal and Constipatiuon Wednesday morning I came across these two weird letters.

African-Americans in our culture have been let down by government at all levels for so long that it is a travesty and a disgrace. Race-baiting and hate-mongering after high-profile trials such as the Zimmerman case are not going to fix that.

Will this nation ever do what it takes so that no minority is ever left out or exploited by corrupt politicians? Will the media address the real problems and help with the solutions, rather than enable a government that is about divisiveness? Not until all of us demand that of them.

CHARLES MICHAEL SITERO, PALM COAST, FLA.

Holy crap! What in the Wide Wide World of Sports is going on here? A letter that makes sense. Our left wing politicians depend on divisiveness. They want to pit one group against another group. Obungler was supposed to end this, instead he and Eric Holder are making it worse. We’re seeing more of Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton and not less. This St. Trayvon of Skittles nonsense was engineered to get blacks pissed off and to the polls to reelect Obumbler. It worked.

No tragedy would have happened if George Zimmerman or Trayvon Martin — or both parties — had used their better judgment. The court of public opinion demanded this tragedy be resolved in a court of law. Criminal law is not based on public opinion. A guilty verdict is based on evidence that must prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt, and jury members cannot substitute their suspicions or prejudices for a lack of evidence.

The Zimmerman trial is over but still exists in the court of public opinion. Will that court apply its better judgment, or its prejudices? Our prejudices are constantly re-enforced by the bad behavior we observe, or perceive, in others. This trial proved what can happen when we prejudge others.

TONY GARDNER, CUMMING

Holy crap! Two letters that make sense. On the same day!

Meanwhile, the race baiters are not going away. This has revived the career of Jesse Jackson. He’s back in the spotlight again. The Martin family is trying to get the Justice Department to file a civil rights case against Zimmerman. Gotta keep the blacks energized to get them to the polls in 2014 so the Dimocrats can take over the House. That’s all this is about. That and gun control.

It’s nice to see that the AJC can find two sensible letters to post on the same day.

  1. The fact is, George Zimmerman was right. better judgement won’t change the fact he had a thievin thug running arround his neighborhood, and his keen perception picked him out of the rain drops. He was also smart enough to bring a gun to a gunfight instead of skittles.

  2. Another question to go along with rayvet’s question: How soon will it be before one of the Democract idiots, like Charlie Rangle or Sheila Jackass Lee, in Congress proposes, and gets, a National Day of Mourning for St. Trayvon?

    • One other thing: Does anyone here believe that The Komrade Mother-f***er Liar-in-Chief’s good friend and spiritual advisor, Un-Reverend Jerry Wright, will petition the Vatican (or the American Society of Druids) to canonize St. Travon, thereby elevating him to sainthood?

Don’t laugh. It could very well happen.
