HARDH, Yemen, Sept. 8 (UPI) — An 8-year-old Yemeni girl died from internal injuries on the first night of her marriage to a man more than five times her age, Kuwaiti daily Al Watan reported.

The girl, identified only by the name Rawan, died in Hardh in the governorate of Hajjah in northwestern Yemen, the newspaper reported Sunday.

She died after suffering a tear to her genitals and severe bleeding, Gulf News reported.

And under Shariah Law this is perfectly OK. It’s just fine to consummate your marriage rape your 8-year-old wife on your wedding night. This rally is in response to a Mooslime rally, the 2 Million Mooslime March. The Mooslimes thought it would be a good idea to celebrate 9/11 with a rally in DC. How nice. They’re celebrating an event when some Islamic terrorists flew airplanes full of innocent people into the WTC and the Pentagon. Then they wonder why many Americans hate Islam and all that it stands for. It’s lucky for them that we are such a tolerant bunch of people. If we were as “civilized” as they are, there would no longer be any Mooslimes left in the US. Many of them would have been hanging from lamp posts after 9/11. There are many occasions when I think that it might have been a good idea to do that, just like there are occasions when I think Saudi Arabia and Iran should now be covered in glass and glowing in the dark.

Here’s an idea. Why don’t we try to convince feral blacks that George Zimmerman was a Mooslime? Then, they could beat up Mooslimes while saying, “This is for Trayvon.”

COLORADO SPRINGS — Two Colorado Democrats who provided crucial support for a slate of tough new gun-control laws were voted out of office on Tuesday in a recall vote widely seen as a test of popular support for gun restrictions after mass shootings in a Colorado movie theater and a Connecticut elementary school.

Do you notice how the New York Slimes (Motto: All the news that fits our views) had to work the two mass shootings in?

The election, which came five months after the United States Senate defeated several gun restrictions, handed another loss to gun-control supporters. It also gave moderate lawmakers across the country a warning about the political risks of voting for tougher gun laws.

There is a Second Amendment in the Constitution. Some of us think it’s important. The Founders certainly did.

The recall elections ousted two Democratic state senators, John Morse and Angela Giron, and replaced them with Republicans. Both defeats were painful for Democrats – Mr. Morse’s because he had been Senate president, and Ms. Giron’s because she represented a heavily Democratic, working-class slice of southern Colorado.

Did you get that? “she represented a heavily Democratic, working-class slice of southern Colorado”. There are even some Dimocrats who believe in the Second Amendment.

In an emotional concession speech, Mr. Morse called the loss of his seat “purely symbolic” and defended the record of the last legislative session as “phenomenal.”

And that’s why you lost your seat.

“We made Colorado safer from gun violence,” he said afterward, as his supporters trickled away from a hotel ballroom here in his district. “If it cost me my political career, that’s a small price to pay.”

Summary: Bullshit and sour grapes. You did not make Colorado safer from gun violence, but your loss has made it safer from liberals like yourself who want to take guns away from law abiding citizens.

For advocates on both sides, the stakes in Tuesday’s elections were far bigger than the fates of two state politicians. As money and national attention poured into Colorado, a state of hunters that has been stained by two mass shootings, the races became a symbol of the nation’s bitter fight over gun control, with one side bolstered by Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg of New York and the other by the National Rifle Association.

While both sides campaigned vigorously, knocking on doors, holding rallies and driving voters to the polls, gun-control advocates far outspent their opponents. A range of philanthropists, liberal political groups, unions and activists raised a total of $3 million to defend Mr. Morse and Ms. Giron. Mr. Bloomberg personally gave $350,000.

They outspent the people in favor of the Second Amendment and they lost big time. Since this is the New York Slimes (Motto: All the news that fits our views), they don’t give the percentages so we don’t know just how bad they lost, but the Denver Post does. Giron, who lives in a heavily Dimocrat district lost 56% to 43.9%. In other words, she was clobbered. Morse, on the other hand, only lost by 50.9% to 49.0%. I’m glad that Bloomberg wasted $350K, but for him that’s just a small percentage of his wealth.

It was not enough to help Mr. Morse overcome the conservative outrage that erupted this winter as Colorado’s Democratic-controlled statehouse passed several gun laws over near-unanimous opposition from Republicans and Second Amendment advocates. Among other things, the new laws require background checks for private gun sales and limit ammunition magazines to 15 rounds.

Mr. Morse’s hand was on the tiller during much of that debate. A former police chief, he said he found himself in a position of not just rounding up votes, but actually explaining the mechanics of guns to fellow Democrats. He brought a magazine to show his colleagues how it worked. In an emotional speech in March, as the debate reached its peak, Mr. Morse stood on the Senate floor and spoke of gun violence and “cleansing a sickness from our souls.”

We had uninfoprmed Dimocrats in the statehouse voting emotion rather than fact. With liberals emotions always trump facts.

Ya done good Colorado voters. I hope you are this energized when your gun grabbing governor runs for reelection and you throw him out as well. Also remember all of the other Dimocrats who voted against the Second Amendment and defeat them in the next general election.

Going into a country to help one side and hurt another in a civil war — if that is the latest reason to go to war — assumes the administration has some wisdom about recent Middle East turmoil. Unfortunately, nothing suggests that it does.

You’ve heard of the Midas touch? Everything Midas touched turned to gold. Now we have the Obummer touch. Everything he touches turns to crap. The economy? Crap! Compare where we were at the start of Reagan’s second term to where we are at this time in Oblunder’s second term. Unemployment is still over 7%. It would be worse if we counted the people who have given up looking for work. The economy is still weak four years after the “recovery”. The LSM has done its best to make things look good from “green shoots” to “funemployment”. Obummercare is turning out to be the disaster that its critics said it would. It’s created a crap load of part time workers. Green energy? Crap! What about foreign policy?

Obama shows no interest in anything approximating victory in Afghanistan.

Leaving a residual force in Iraq to preserve a hard-fought victory in achieving a constitutional order was apparently not a good political slogan for 2012.

As Iraq descends into civil war many Iraqis want us to come back. Wonder how Monkey Boy al Sadr feels about that. You Iraqis should have thought about that when negotiating a status of forces agreement with us.

Libya, to the extent we know what is now going on, is probably worse off than before we led from behind there; There is no administration interest in explaining, much less avenging, our losses in Benghazi. Indeed, the administration has told us less about Benghazi than about Syria.

The common denominator among U.S. actions in Egypt has been the administration’s doing the wrong thing: abruptly junking Mubarak, then backing the Muslim Brotherhood, and then denying that the would-be reformist generals had staged a coup and are a junta.

And Johnnie “Maverick” McRINO and his Mini-me Little Lindsey Graham are for the Mooslime Brotherhood. What’s up with that? Yannow, if you threw a brick at McRINO’s ass, you would hit Little Lindsey in the back of his head.

I can remember when Little Lindsey was a conservative. He was one of the floor managers in the House for the Impeachment of BJ. He sure has changed. He reminds me of an instructor I worked with at IBM. He was a nice guy until he became a manager. He was groomed for the job by one of the best managers I ever worked for at IBM. He was doing just fine until he started hanging out with another manager who took him to the dark side and turned him into an asshole. Fortunately, when that happened, I was no longer in that group. I had my own CDSM© to deal with by then. It was really sad watching a nice guy turn into a butthead. The guys who worked for him lost all respect for him.

To support the bombing of Syria, we must assume both that Obama has more knowledge of insurgencies than he did in relation to Afghanistan, Iraq, and Libya and that suddenly he has more stomach for intervening and sorting out good from bad. Unfortunately, that seems unlikely.

It looks like the proper US foreign policy would be doing exactly the opposite of what Obeavis wants to do. If Obutthead wanted to destroy our foreign policy credibility with the rest of the world, exactly what would he be doing differently?

No one currently in charge of U.S. foreign policy has any record of foreign-policy success. Those who might have offered wise counsel either are dead, have left the administration, or do not exercise authority — Crocker, Eikenberry, Gates, Holbrooke, Mattis, Petraeus. In contrast, the common theme among Obama, Biden, Hagel, Rice, Kerry, and Power is not brilliance. They cannot agree in public with each other; they contradict their own past statements; they have lost the public’s confidence in their veracity; and they sermonize and pontificate rather than inspire. One day we are bombing and skipping authorization from Congress; the next day, everything is on hold while Congress vacations; the next, its vote may not even matter; the next, the “shot across the bow” is a full-fledged, non-tiny attack; and most recently, everything is on hold again while the Russians — in the middle of a civil war, no less — negotiate with Assad to account for and turn over his WMD. We are certainly not in reliable hands to make one of the most complicated interventions in recent U.S. history.
