I’m a little under the weather, but I have an answer for that: Ron.
I’ve been around long enough to realize that we (the general public) will NEVER quite know exactly what the total cost of Obamacare will be. Facts will be hidden, skewed, manipulated, and just plain misrepresented by both sides, forever.
Ultimately it will lapse into one of those “essentials” like MediCare or MedicAid or Social Security or Food Stamps or Welfare that are really nothing more at their bottom lines than wealth redistribution schemes. Rob the rich to feed the parasites.
People still argue about the benefits versus the costs of Social Security. Have done so for half a century. It’s a barely disguised ponzi scheme which is already poised at the point where more is being taken out than is being put in.
If Soicial Security were a private scheme, the people running it would be arrested and thrown in jail. Social Security is Bernie Madoff on steroids.
As for Obamacare, I don’t believe anything I hear or see or read about it except that it’s a government-run system which will encourage non-insurable people to enroll in a health-care plan paid for by people who actually have jobs and are happy with the plan they already have.
But can no longer keep. Obeauzeau lied through his teeth about that as he has done most of the time he has been on the national stage.
The problem is that millions of people will wind up LOSING their jobs AND their employer-funded health-care insurance because of the costs involved to businesses. Owners and managers will have to reduce workers’ hours to below 30 per week to stay afloat, and workers will need two part-time jobs to make up for the lost income.
“Change we can believe in.” Most of these idiots prolly voted for this asshole so they’re getting what they deserve. I have no pity for them. Elections have consequences.
More people will seek Food Stamps and Unemployment checks and/or go on Welfare because of their reduced part-time incomes, and some will lose their homes because they won’t be able to afford the triple threat of mortgage, food, and health-care.
I wonder how Peggy Joseph is doing?
Blacks are doing worse under Obungler than under both Bushes and Reagan but that’s OK. There’s a brutha in the White House and that’s all that matters.
The Soetoro lie about the average family’s medical insurance costs going down by $2500 simply won’t happen except for cronies and various exempt-status people. As for keeping your plan and/or your doctor, that’s hard to do when your insurance carrier goes out of business and your doctor stops accepting MediCare.
Exactly!
Surveys are bullshit, nothing more. They’re political tools, and those conducted by the right wing aren’t any more credible than those from the lefty loonies who worship at the Obamaltar. Here’s the study/survey I’d like to see:
1. How many total pre-med students have already or will soon change their major to another field in the next 5 years?
2. How many doctors and medical specialists will retire or relocate to other countries or find other work in the next 5 years?
I have a friend in the medical profession. She knows a few doctors who are retiring because of Obummercare.
3. What is the total number of people who didn’t already have health insurance who are now covered by Obamacare (5 years from now)?
4. What is the ratio of people who have lost jobs, lost income, lost homes, or simply dropped off the grid to those who have benefited from the ACA?
In other words, I’d like to know how many people will wind up being hurt as compared to how many whose lives will be improved by this law. But even if that number could be determined, we’d never be allowed to know, would we?
Nope!
From what I’ve read, and I can’t really trust any of it, I see no more than maybe 5 or 6 million people gaining health-care benefits that they didn’t already have. I also see fewer doctors, less research and development, and higher premiums for anyone who’s not an Obamacrony.
My guess is that the ratio of those actually benefitting from the ACA to those whose premiums have become unsupportable will turn out to be 1 : 4 or so, and when the doctor and medical hardware shortages begin to kick in, the ratio of those benefiting to those whose health care has declined in quality will be closer to 1 :
10. And what’s REALLY bad about it all is that just like Social Security, once it takes root it will be impossible to get rid of. This snafu will be around longer than the 22nd Amendment.
O.K. I feel better now after my roast-chicken lunch and that mild rant.
Me too. Thanks Ron.
It’s a surprise he lied?

Actually, ObamaCAIR is a fantastic success:

“From what I’ve read, and I can’t really trust any of it, I see no more than maybe 5 or 6 million people gaining health-care benefits that they didn’t already have.”
Yep, all the illegal aliens will now have health care!
Obamacare needs seven million healthy young people to sign up just to make up for the people with pre-existing conditions. Their number, not mine. I heard today that at the rate they are signing up it will take FIFTY YEARS for that many to sign up. Our young people may be ignorant and naive, but they know when they are being screwed by an insurance company. Even the millinials know there is something wrong with a two or three hundred percent jump in their premiums.
I predict that the insurance companies pull the plug on this within a year. If there is no profit in it for them they will send out the cancellation letters and wash their hands of the whole thing. They were promised millions of new customers in a captive market. When that market fails to materialize they will bail out like the plane was on fire. They made a deal with the Devil and the Devil lied. As soon as their predicted profits fail to meet their expectations it will be “adios muthafukkas”.
Has anyone ever tracked down Peggy Joseph and found out how she’s doing under Obummer??
I was working for a nursing degree with the long-term goal of becoming a nurse anesthetist. I changed degrees when the voters lost their damn minds and not only voted in Obummer, but also a Dem controlled House and Congress. There was a douchebag in one of my classes at UAH who was so damn proud the POS got elected. I wish I had kept his contact info so I could ask how he is doing now. Most likely hanging with Peggy Joseph. The saddest part, dude was a veteran…
