I’m giving it to Johnny Maverick Benedict “Reach Across The Aisle” Arnold McRINO. I read somewhere on the intertubies that someone said that the way to defeat Obummercare is via elections. Well, in the House we did that. Unfortunately we have people like McRINO and his mini-me Little Lindsey Graham who run as conservatives but immediately after the election become Dimocrats. How can we win if we keep electing assholes like McRINO who immediately start stabbing the base of the Republican Party in the back? Hmmmm? At this point, I will no longer vote for a RINO, even if it means that Thunder Rodent Thighs wins the election in 2016. The country is doomed anyway because of the squishy RINOs, like McRINO who refuse to fight for the people who elect them. Let the country continue to go to hell. I refuse to vote for Dimocrats like McRINO masquerading as Republicans to get elected in conservative states. If Lugar in Indiana had acted like a Republican he wouldn’t have been primaried and he would still be in the Senate. You gentry Republicans like to be in the minority party and until you start fighting for the people who elect you, you will continue to be in the minority. If you want my vote, show me that you want it.
Fuck you! All of you, but especially Johnny Maverick Benedict “Reach Across The Aisle” Arnold McRINO. Here’s your award, you backstabbing asshole.
Johnny Maverick Benedict “Reach Across The Aisle” Arnold McRINO.
As an Arizona resident, a Republican voter raised by dimocrats and voted for Eisenhower’s first election as a 21 year old 1st time voter, due to this walking advertisement for term limits who should have retired long ago, I no longer consider myself a republican.
Due to fossilized assholes like McCain, McConnell and others of their ilk, it is time for a conservative/libertarian party to arise to actually stand for something.
McRino is the prime example of why we need to repeal the 17th amendment and let the state legislators send senators to D.C. instead of a popular vote. That way when they start acting like assholes we can recall them without the hassles of a special election.
Hear! Hear!
The barometer here will be the Virginia gubernatorial race. Cuccinelli is running on a sorta conservative agenda but is really turning off women and environmentalists and several other loud groups with money and backing.
McCauliffe isn’t by any means clean, but the media are backing him, so adding the fact that a Libertarian will be taking votes away from Cuccinelli, he’ll no doubt win as a consequence of the shutdown, which most media blame on Republicans.
After all the noise made by TeaPartiers over Obamacare funding, my prediction is that what is an almost certain McCauliffe victory will be the death knell for conservatives in 2014 and slam the door on any presidential hopefuls from anywhere to the right of center.
Conservatives simply have misplaced the knack of winning key elections. All those gains in the House were just flashes in the pan, signifying not the mother lode but just a hole in some wanderer’s pouch. The GOP is most accurate only when targeting its own foot, and it hasn’t the smallest clue how to pick or support a PotUS candidate.
We’ll know in about 2 weeks or so. But if the ultra-right in Virginia don’t come out in huge numbers and show the nation that people are suspicious of Democrats, it’s all over for the GOP, as well as for the nation. Socialism will prevail and the US will become Venezuela del Norte.
You can forget the 22nd Amendment, too, if the liberals regain control of both houses and Shrillary becomes another leftie “first.”
I’m more hurt than angry at McCain. I knew he had his flaws, as does everybody. But in the past I’d given him credit for fiscal responsibility and strategic vision. (I cheered him when he condemned the Bush spending spree.) So why’d he go to bat for the “rebels” in Syria, who were mostly extremists? Why isn’t he vocal in condemning the insane deficits? I can understand that he might not regard the debt limit as the proper field of battle, but I’m not seeing him pulling in the right direction.
Why, you ask? Because McRINO wants to be loved by the LSM and he gets that love by being a Maverick bashing Republicans. That’s why he bashed Bush and that’e why he stabbed Cruz et. al. in the back.
Great choice. Juan has the beltway disease and has overstayed his welcome by about 6 years. Bocopro, while I know Virginia has become more blue, I really don’t think it’s the bellwether for the country. Hope and pray (if you’re so inclined) that O-care remains the steaming pile of shit it is, and that somehow, someway, the stupid party finds it’s voice.
I don’t recall if I mentioned it or not but my father served with McCain on the USS Forrestal. His department was in charge of the electrical systems on the planes. My father hated McCain because he was a stuck up fighter jock then.
If he runs again I will vote for the Dimocrat. May as well, the asshole.
Jason, minor quibble. McCain was a stuck up Attack Puke.
(If he was an enlisted man, I’ll bet your dad was either an AT, AE or AQ.)
Fer sure he was a green striper, prolly an AE.
I asked him… he was an AQ.
Denny, I’m sure you meant to say “reach-around” across the aisle, didn’t you?
After gratuitous slurring Ted Cruz and Rand Paul, McRino and mini Mc are gonna break the sequester in the name of increasing defense spending, just watch.
Are sure you didn’t mean “reach around?”
