The people pulling the wagon have three choices. One is To continue pulling until there are not enough pullers to move it. Second, stop and surround the wagon, set it on fire and force the riders to walk as well, Or thirdly, wait until dark and sneak away from the wagon leaving the riders to starve or feed themselves. If the heavy hand of government is guarding the wagon, some murders may be required to allow a stealthy retreat. The object is to go your own way and to let others go theirs. If they decide to sit in a stationary wagon waiting for your help, well, they can eat their own children. They have never been able to feed them with out your help, and you are gone.
TomR, Oregon used to be a great place to live. I was there in the early 1970’s. Eastern Oregon is still fairly consirvative and not unlike eastern Washington. The problem is that the west side of both states has become uber liberal with the influx of displaced Californios in the last two decades. A liberal can,n and did, get elected to the US Senate by winning three counties on the west side of the state. Our new Governor(D) has decided that global warming is the number one issue facing our state. It’s getting so bad that soon I will need to file an environmental impact statement before I can mow my yard, or light the woodstove. All liberal must be hanged, and soon.

Absolutely correct. I just can’t figure out how to pull off any one of the three.
