I Have A Dream

And here it is.

ebt

Ralph sent me this.

If this ever happened the moocher class would riot in the streets, but it would be fun to watch. As it is there has been a glitch over the weekend with EBT cards not working. Check out the Twitter feed at the link. The moochers, leeches, and parasites are going batshit crazy.

I remember a few months back there was a problem with food stamps in Macon Georgia. I posted a YouTube video of all of the black parasites bitching about not getting food stamps. One of the parasites, a black mother of fourteen (!!), was bitching about not having enough food for her fourteen (!!) children. She said, without realizing the irony, that someone needed to take responsibility for this.

Monday Pun 12-14-2013

This one is from Tom.

A caveman named Ted left his wife and children in their cave and went on the day’s hunt with Ned. They hadn’t gotten ten steps when a giant boulder came crashing down, sealing the entrance, trapping his family. He was in a near state of panic, but Ned, the analytical of the two, proposed to find a long branch or stout log to pry the rock away, using the branch as a lever. After many attempts, many broken branches, Ted was in a state of near panic. Along comes Nate, the stoutest and strongest of the caveman tribe. After explaining the dilemma to Nate, Ned and Ted stepped away while Nate pushed the boulder away with brute force. Astonished, relieved, and filled with gratitude, Ted proclaimed to Ned, (more…)

So I’m driving around St. Louis and this song comes on. I’ve never heard it before. Who is that? Bon Jovi said the DJ. I’ve never heard this song on any radio station in Atlanta. Just another reason that KSHE 95 is the best rock station in the world.

So I checked out the live videos of this song. The guitar work is nowhere as good as this studio version.

Saturday Uninformed Voter Joke

This one is from Tom who also is responsible for the pun I’ll be posting on Monday.

A uninformed voter gets a job as a teacher. During recess, she notices a boy in the field standing alone, while all the other kids are running around having fun.
She takes pity on him and decides to speak to him.

‘You ok?’ she says.

‘Yes.’ he says.

‘You can go and play with the other kids you know.’ she says.

‘It’s best I stay here,’ he says.’

‘Why?’, asks Sue, the uninformed voter.

The boy says: ‘Because, I’m the goalie!!’

AOTW 10-11-2013

A plethora of assholes, as usual. Howza ’bout Chris Hayes, one of the liberals progressives rat bastard commies on MSNBC, the official organ of the American Communist Party AKA the Dimocrat Party? Didja hear what he had to say the other day?

“The political disfunction that has brought about the shutdown and now threatens default, isn’t so much gridlock. It is exposing the fatal flaw in our Constitution and highly distinct system of government. In other words, it’s the Constitution’s fault. Something truly catastrophic was bound to happen sooner or later.”

Chris, you ignorant slut! The Constitution is working just as designed. It’s called checks and balances. We are not a democracy. Democracy is mob rule (which is how Obummercare got passed). The Founders were terrified of mob rule. We are a Constitutional Republic. It is perfectly normal. The House of Representatives is the closest House to the people. The American people did not want Obummercare. It was rammed through Congress. It was because of Obummercare that the Republicans regained control of the House of Representatives.

You liberals progressives rat bastard commies hate the Constitution. You have been trying to undermine and subvert the Constitution for as long as I can remember. The Constitution is the only thing that stands between you and the socialist utopia that you want to create. I’ve seen a socialist utopia. I’ve been to Russia and have seen what socialism did to that country. Look at Zimbabwe. Look at Cuba. Look at North Korea. They’re all socialist utopias.

But Chris Hayes was topped by Sheila Jackson Lee, the Einstein who asked if the Mars rover was anywhere near the flag that the astronauts planted. Yeah. Only about 35 million miles away. She thinks the Obamessiah should declare martial law.

I’m not a conspiracy nut or anything, but from what I’ve seen over the last few years from Jug Hussein Ears Downgrade, it would not surprise me if he tried this. After all, he’s already unilaterally changed Obummercare with waivers and postponing the business mandate for a year.

But for Sheila Jackson Lee suggesting this, I have to give her the AOTW Award.

Question

assfat

Yes. Next question?

Stole it from Bill Quick

By the way, with all of the talk about “extremists”, these people are the real extremists. They rammed through a flawed healthcare bill, that no one read, that the American people opposed, on strictly party lines with some legislative flim-flam. The American people responded by turning the House of Representatives over to the Republicans. They did it again in 2012. The Republicans are only doing what the people elected them to do: slow spending and repeal Obummercare. We are seeing now just what a trainwreck this bill is with the rollout of the Obummercare website. Epic fail! Some kid in his parents’ basement could have done a better job that the company hired to do the work.

And if Obummercare is so good, why did Congress and the president exempt themselves from it? Why did Obungler, illegally delay the mandate on businesses? Hmmmmm?

More Obummercare News

$600 million down the drain.

It’s been one full week since the flagship technology portion of the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) went live. And since that time, the befuddled beast that is Healthcare.gov has shutdown, crapped out, stalled, and mis-loaded so consistently that its track record for failure is challenged only by Congress.

I’m shocked! Yannow they’ve had three years to set this site up. Did they contract this out to Elbonia?

The site itself, which apparently underwent major code renovations over the weekend, still rejects user logins, fails to load drop-down menus and other crucial components for users that successfully gain entrance, and otherwise prevents uninsured Americans in the 36 states it serves from purchasing healthcare at competitive rates – Healthcare.gov’s primary purpose. The site is so busted that, as of a couple days ago, the number of people that successfully purchased healthcare through it was in the “single digits,” according to the Washington Post.

As a formally highly paid, highly trained, and highly motivated IT professional, I could have predicted this. It’s the gummint. What do you expect? To paraphrase exSpeaker Blinky: We need to put the site in production to see how fucked up it is.

The reason for this nationwide headache apparently stems from poorly written code, which buckled under the heavy influx of traffic that its engineers and administrators should have seen coming. But the fact that Healthcare.gov can’t do the one job it was built to do isn’t the most infuriating part of this debacle – it’s that we, the taxpayers, seem to have forked up more than $634 million of the federal purse to build the digital equivalent of a rock.

The update to this story sez it’s actually over $600 million. A pretty nice hunk of change for a site that crashes on a regular basis. So how much was it originally supposed to cost.

The exact cost to build Healthcare.gov and its related systems is difficult to determine due to the expansive nature of the project and the murky details in federal budgets. But based on the figures and details available, here is my best estimate of what this flawed system has cost us: The most clear data comes from a U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO) report from June (pdf), which states that the U.S. Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) spent “almost $394 million from fiscal year 2010 through March 2013 through contracts” to build the “federally facilitated exchanges” (FFEs) – the complex system that includes Healthcare.gov as well as certain state-based exchanges – the data hub, and other expenditures related to the Obamacare exchange system. While GAO states that the “highest volume” of that $394 million was related to the development of “information technology systems,” a more detailed look at that cost shows that a portion that $394 million was spent on things like call centers and collection services. Take that out, and you’re left with roughly $363 million spent on technology-related costs to the healthcare exchanges – the bulk of which ($88 million) went to CGI Federal, the company awarded a $93.7 million contract to build Healthcare.gov and other technology portions of the FFEs.

And the costs will continue to rise, just like all of the costs associated with Obummercare. The Affordable Car Act my ass! You Obungler supporters were sold a bill of goods by the Obamessiah and the Dimocrats. Costs will continue to rise and healthcare will continue to get worse. This website is just a symbol of the train wreck of Obummercare. Suckers!

Read the rest at the linked site. Here’s a money quote: When things still go wrong, they simply throw ‘more money at the same people who caused the problem to fix the problem.’

Why not? We continue to elect the same people who create problems to fix the problems they create.

Sez It All

The People’s House is closed to the people. Has there ever been a president who hated the American people as much as this asshole?

It’s costing more to close the WWII Memorial and the Viet Nam War memorial than it would to keep them open. This president hates veterans.

Disgusting!
