As long as we have “Republicans” like Johnny “Maverick” McRINO, Little Lindsey Graham, and the rest of the herd of RINOs this is true. These buttheads would rather fight the Tea Party than Obungler and the Dimocrats.
And didja see all the red state Dimocrat senators up for reelection next year all of a sudden are for the delay of the individual mandate, sumpin’ they all opposed two weeks ago? Are you people in West Virginia gonna be dumb enough to reelect Joe Manchin? Yannow, the Dimocrat who was for Obummercare and is working with Obungler to destroy the coal industry?
Are you people in Arkansas gonna be dumb enough to reelect Mark Pryor? Don’t listen to what he sez. Look at what he has done. The same goes with you folks in Louisiana with Mary Landrieu.
A vote for any of these red state Dimocrats is a vote for Harry Reid and Obumbler. These Dimocrats all voted for Obummercare. These Dimocrats are responsible for this country becoming a country of part time workers. People are losing their health insurance because of Obummercare. You can’t blame Bush and the Republicans for this fiasco since not a single Republican voted for it. All of these red state Dimocrats did.
We once had a red state Dimocrat senator in Georgia. Max “Stumpy” Cleland. Stumpy would campaign as a conservative Dimocrat – now there is an oxymoron – but as soon as he got to Washington he would stab his constituents in the back and turn into a liberal, yannow just like McRINO and Little Lindsey Graham. During the campaign, Stumpy claimed the Republicans impugned his patriotism by pointing out that he was a liberal progressive rat bastard commie. He’s still shedding tears about it.
You red staters, if you don’t vote these assholes out, you are supporting Obummercare and Obamenomics and the havoc they are causing to our economy. If you lose your insurance, look in the mirror. If you lose your job, look in the mirror. If you get cut to part time, look in the mirror. You are the one to blame. There is no such thing as a conservative Dimocrat. There is no such thing as a moderate Dimocrat. Don’t be fooled next year.

That is what is happening in the United States with Jug Hussein Ears Downgrade, Harry Reid, and exSpeaker Blinky who just said this week that Obummercare was not the cause of the Dimocrats losing the House in the last two elections. Remember, she was also the idiot who said that we would have to pass the bill (Obummercare) so we could find out what’s in it. We did. It’s a steaming pile of crap and it can be laid right at the foot of the red state Dimocrat senators running for reelection. If you red staters reelect these assholes you have just proven just how stupid you folks are.

Denny, I have a question that perhaps you or one of your readers can answer for me. Why is there a Healthcare. gov website? Why did we spend nearlt 600 million dollars to build a government website to help people buy health care from private insurers. The ACA mandates that only ACA compliant policies will qualify for subsidies and protect us from the tax/penalty imposed by the IRS. State Insurance Commissioners have regulated these policies for years as to what they must cover. The congress has said that now in order to avoid the tax/penalty we must buy an ACA compliant policy. Before the ACA we could shop for health insurance in the marketplace without a government gateway. This whole thing could be handled by a simple revision to the 1040 form. A line that asks “do you have an ACA compliant healthcare policy? Yes No.
If the answer is Yes, you would list the policy number, Carrier, and list all the named family members. If you answer No, you skip to the Tax/Penalty line. Schedules of Tax/Penalty amounts as well as Subsidy Rebates/Deduction will show how much the taxpayer owes, or may deduct from taxes owed.
Why should the taxpayers foot the bill to steer buyers to privately owned, for profit businesses? Anyone care to answer this one. Bueller? Bueller?
Roger – Because the gummint wants control over your health insurance. This is just a step on the way to what the rat bastard commies want: Single payer gummint run health insurance. But first, they need our medical records. Then, they need to drive private insurers out of business or cause premiums to skyrocket. Then, when the populace demands that the gummint fix what they fucked up, voila! gummint run single payer. I give it another ten years before that happens, prolly in Thunder Rodent Thigh’s 2nd term.

Denny, I promise as the transplanted Arkansasan that I am, I have never, not once voted for Mark Pryor. Not even when I was a teacher and I was in the damn teachers union and they were sending him my money as a campaign contribution. Happiest day of my life when I found out I didn’t have to be in the damn union. But not real happy with guy who wants to replace him right now either, since he voted to reopen the government. Pretty damn irritated with all of them at this point.
I’ve never voted for Pryor either, father nor son. But it burns my behind when I elect a fellow to a job and he doesn’t even show up before he tells me he wants a promotion. And that if the government can’t read what is the secret ingredient in Aunt Linda’s banana pudding then our troops will die in Afghanistan. And yeah, he wrote a nice letter to the New York Times, back in the day, but he seems more and more like Obama without a tan.

Kinda harsh, IMO.
We’ve screwed up as a nation before, and probably will again . . . Winston Churchill may have been a drunk and a jerk, and a *terrible* military strategist (wiki Gallipoli / sp?) but he was a pretty shrewd observer of history.
We’ve also managed to recover from difficult circumstances, including those we’ve done to ourselves.
I’ll admit I’m hoping that the latest string of somewhat dramatic prog policy failures will result in pushback in 2014/16.
