The Democrats had the House, the Senate and the Presidency for two years, 2009 and 2010. They could have passed any budget that they wanted and the Republicans could not stop them: Yet they did not propose or pass a budget. Why not?
I don’t know why the Republicans are not hammering them for this. They could lay the present impasse at their feet as a direct result of their irresponsibility.
