I’ve said it many times both when Obumbler was running and then after he got elected, that any criticism of him or his policies would be deemed racist. You can mock most presidents but not this one. Remember the rodeo clown? It was funny with Chimpy McHalliburton Bushitler but not with Obutthead. I’m sure the rodeo clowns wore Clinton masks as well. That was OK. But not a mask of Obeavis. That be raciss! Someone was offended at the clown wearing the Oblamebush mask and now the clown has been banned from ever appearing in a rodeo in Missouri. What happened to Freedom of Speech? There isn’t as clause in the Constitution guaranteeing a right to not be offended. I have to ask myself over and over, “Is this America? Is this the America I grew up in?” Sadly, I have to admit, the answer is “No!” I weep for my beloved country and what it has turned into.

There is a difference in governing and ruling. Most often it is expressed by those that want to rule in the use of “We” and not “We the People” but “We the Elite that deserve to rule”. I could point to hundreds of examples – sadly most are within the Democratic party. What makes me think is how do people develop into the “We the Elite”? What mechanism is it that makes one person think they are better than everyone else? Just some random thoughts….

No Denny, this is not the country we grew up in. America won the cold war only to lose the ideological war with with the communists. Oh, they call it progressiveism but it is communism by another name. And what is communism but a dictatorship by a ruling class of hereditary chosen elite. As long as people vote on name recognition or tribal affinity we will never break the hold of the power seeking class. Just look at the buzz around Princess Clinton. Her mother will most certainly run in 2016 and she is being touted as a candidate in 2024. Why? The rent seekers loved her father, a man that spent his entire adult life becoming president. Hillary dedicated her life toward that goal and rode his coat tails toward her own goal of winning the office. She will continue that quest because it is her turn, and in her mind she has earned it. Now the Princess will be hoisted up as the logical extension of the Royal line.
Our founding fathers specifically prohibited Titles of Nobility when they wrote the constitution. They knew firsthand the danger of kings, and they wanted no part of it. They knew that Kings become despots and no democracy can survive a despot without the shedding of a lot of blood. I fear that that is going to be the outcome if this foolishness is not brought to a halt. This nation was here when I was born and it will live after I am gone, but damn, it was good while I was here.

The house compromised three times; the senate stonewalled. Senator Reid blamed Tea Party Radicals. The latest proposal from the house “Tea Party Radicals” was to eliminate all special exemptions, and implement ObamaCare as written, the same for everyone. In other words, equal protection under the law. The senate and the president rejected that proposal out of hand, with no negotiation. How can they defend that? Who actually wants to shut down the government? Not the “Tea Party Radicals”, it seems.
But more important he shaved 2 stokes off his golf game!
How is it the media can’t convince the majority that Obamacare sucks, and yet I cant figure how stupid our own base is. We can’t convince the American public worth a damn. Can’t even get our base out to vote. I’d have hoped if Romney had made it, we’d have killed this bill through defunding and then defanging.
I just don’t know how we dig out of this hole. It sure ain’t the America I grew up in anymore.
Pete – The media is not trying to convince the majority that Obummercare sucks. They are cheerleaders for Obummercare. The media, with the exception of Fox News, is the propaganda arm of the Dimocrat Party. If they were objective news presenters, Obungler would not have been reelected, the Republicans would have taken over the Senate, and Obummercare would be history. If the media were not so busy carrying water for Obumbler and the Dimocrats, ex-Speaker Blinky would have been laughed off the podium for saying about Obummercare, “We have to pass the bill to find out what’s in it.” That is one of the dumbest things I have ever heard a politician say. It would be funny if it weren’t so scary.

The American elections since the Clinton era have seen an unprecedented journalistic abuse of truth & outright lies to promote the Socialist cause. It has been a very trying time for the Media to cover up the real agenda of the Obama administration , the failings of his appointees & the catastrophic fall of American prestige & influence in the world today.
The media is now owned by the Democratic party & serves as their mouthpiece providing propaganda to support the agenda & runs interference even lying, altering videos , tapes or facts to discredit opponents or events.
We who are informed & do care deeply are sadly in the minority of the American electorate. We discuss back & forth among ourselves on Conservative websites but the truth is the MAJORITY of our friends, neighbors, co-workers , enemies & even family members who allow for these elitest traitors to be elected remain ignorant or stupid.
I really fear if this country is to ever survive & return to its former position of power & influence in this world……it will take a revolution or a horrific world war which most of us as well as many in the world will not survive.
