A Myth, Coverup, Or Denial?

USA Today is in denial. Thanks to Michael for sending this to me.

Some news organizations are refuting the existence of an alleged phenomenon known as the “knockout game” that has been the subject of media warnings in recent weeks.

According to reports by CNN, the Today show, USA TODAY and others, the game takes place when young people randomly assault strangers in an attempt to knock them out with one punch.

The attacks are leading to arrests, more officers on the streets and warnings for vigilance among the public, law enforcement officials and victims advocates told USA TODAY. In New Haven, Conn., police spokesman David Hartman said police are investigating six incidents in the past month as possible “knockouts.”

But police officials in several cities where the attacks have been reported say the knockout game is an urban myth, and that attacks that have received recent attention in the media have been random assaults, the New York Times is reporting.

Bullshit! The reason that the attacks have now started to receive media attention is because there are now so many of them the LSM can no longer cover them up or sweep them under the rug anymore like they have been doing for the last few years.

“We’re trying to determine whether or not this is a real phenomenon,” the news organization quotes New York police commissioner Raymond Kelly as saying. “I mean, yes, something like this can happen. But we would like to have people come forward and give us any information they have.”

Do you mean the people who have been killed in these “random assaults” or just the people who have been hospitalized?

A column on Slate.com reports that while the game does exist, there is no hard data to support the notion that it is a growing trend that has reached epidemic levels. It also refutes the suggestion by some news organizations that some of the attacks have been racially motivated.

Name That Race has become the new Name That Party. The LSM is in denial if they think that this is not feral young blacks playing this game against non-blacks.

The Slate piece makes reference to another piece on the patheos.com website that says, “Nobody seems to have any evidence that it’s spreading, or that it’s new, or that it’s racially motivated.”

So whom are you gonna believe, liberal Slate, or your own lying eyes? This is black on white crime, but as anyone in Liberal Land knows, blacks are peaceful unlike white people who are constantly beating up or shooting black choirboys like St. Trayvon of Skittles.

The piece continues, “Most sources claim that it is spreading, and a number of sources claim that it is racially motivated. But how do they know? Where are they getting their data from?”

Actual events? Reality? We realize that the LSM has been doing everything in its power to try and hush these things up even going so far as not mentioning the race of the feral young blacks who are playing this game. As I have been saying for the last few months, Name That Race has become the new Name That Party. My blog buddy Don Surber has been saying the same thing. We both, independent of each other, started saying this around the same time. I guess that means both of us are rabid racists. Maybe I am, but I know Don isn’t.

In New York, reports appear to have blossomed in recent weeks. Two weeks ago, a 78-year-old woman reported she was punched in the head, the Times reports.

The Jewish community has been fearful too. One Hasidic teen said he was approached by eight men and punched in the face by one of them, Democratic New York State Assemblyman Dov Hikind told the Times. According to the news organization, the city is panicked.

“It’s sick, it’s scary,” Hikind is quoted as saying.

Exhibit A: Didja notice that the race of the perps was not mentioned in the previous three paragraphs?

The Daily Beast reports that assaults with “hands and fists” in America rose .7% from 2011 to 2012, according to the FBI.

“The ‘knockout game’ may or may not be a new phenomenon, but with a few instances out of tens of thousands of assaults, it’s not a trend, and media outlets shouldn’t treat it as one,” the news organization reports.

In other words, keep suppressing stories about the knockout game and continue not reporting the race of the feral young blacks who are playing it.

  1. The racial unrest the elites are fomenting goes unseen from their lofty ivory tower perch.

We are merely collateral damage. Yaknow, the eggs that need to be broken to make the omelet.

  2. Just wait until a white person who has a concealed carry permit gets busted in the chops by one of these thugs. Then he pops a cap on the jackal, and sends his ass to St Travonville Oprah, Oblama, Harry Belafonte, Jessie Jackson, and Bigfoot Moochel well get prime television time to call for revenge. This nation is in for a rude awakening , but I am afraid too many people would just as soon watch blacks play basketball and football then to do a fricking thing!

  3. Hey Denny;

Of course they don’t want this to get out….It might damage the message that the liberals have been pushing for years…that they need more money taken from productive Americans and given to “Disadvantaged” people to make up for years of discrimination….or some other crap like that. People are starting to wise up and didja notice that all the knockout games are played in areas with massive “urban yoots” and strict gun control.

    • And now some black apologists are whining that because the reason these feral blacks are doing this is because they don’t have jobs. Most of them wouldn’t work if you gave them jobs. They want jobs? Fine. Let them do the work that we have to imprt Mexicans to do. Let them pick the crops that we have to import Mexicans to pick. Let them clean the houses that we have to import Mexicans to clean. Let them mow the lawns that we have to import Mexicans to mow.

When the president of Mexico said that Mexicans do the jobs that Americans won’t do what he really meant was Mexicans do the jobs that blacks won’t do.

  4. How can one argue the “Knockout Game” gets more attention than it deserves, when this is in the context of the Trayvon shooting which, whatever one thinks of the case, is clearly isolated and undeserving of the insane degree of media and political focus?

Similarly, Drudge highlighted this link: “Duke Rape Accuser Got 160 TV News Stories on Accusation, 3 on Murder Conviction”.

Seems that right-thinking people obsess over some incidents while turning a blind eye to more egregious crimes.

  5. This started in the U.K. about 5 or 6 years ago, over there the delinquents called it “happy slapping”. There’s plenty of videos of it on youtube. My favorite is one that I saw via AOSHQ, a kid decided to “happy slap” the wrong person. It turned out that he assaulted one of a pair of UFC type fighters dressed in drag for a costume party. The guy that wasn’t assaulted way laid the kid with a single punch. The kid was then filmed trying to run, staggering mostly, about 100 yards back to his gang of buddies who took him to the hospital with a broken jaw where police promptly arrested him.

Youtube is probably where where they got the idea from over here. To claim that it’s not spreading is pure cowardice.

  6. Sadly, to many people are in denial, and will be until they to are victims. I fear there will be a lot more violence, before people wake and see this for what it really is; racially motivated violence.
