Of course, they left out one other fact that is missing here. Can you guess it? What’s missing? Hmmmmmmmmmmmm? Could it be the race of the folks who are committing most of the gun crimes? I just wonder where we would rank if they threw out all of murders committed by blacks, both feral and tame?
The problem is not guns. The problem is what the Dimocrat Party has done to blacks in this country. They broke up the black family – 3/4 of black babies are illegitimate – and have created a permanent underclass dependent upon the gummint for food, housing, and support. We saw what happened in Nawlins when gummint, mainly state and local, failed. Dimocrats blamed FEMA but they needed to look closer to home. It was Mayor Asshole and Governor Useless, both Dimocrats, who were the biggest fuckups.
The social safety net has become a hammock. It’s basically slavery without the work. The role models for black kids are rappers, professional athletes, pimps, and drug dealers.
Our War on Poverty has turned out about as successful as our War on Drugs. Poverty and drugs are both rampant in the black community and that leads to crime. The sad thing is we have black politicians who won’t address these issues. Instead they blame whitey and Slavery®. Ridding the South of the Confederate battle flag is more important than ridding the anti-achievement mentality of black children who think that learning to read and write correct English and doing well in school is “acting white”. They denigrate – he used “denigrate” that be raciss – successful conservative blacks like Clarence Thomas and Condi Rice by calling them Oreos, sellouts, or “house slaves” as Harry Belefonte called Rice and Colin Powell. And they would think denigrate as racist because it has “nig” in it so it must have come from “nigger”, which, if they had a decent education, they would know is bullshit.
Do you remember the guy who used the word “niggardly” in front of the Washington DC City Council and got fired for it because it was racist? These blacks were too stupid to know that niggardly as well as denigrate came from a Dutch word. This is what you get when you’re looking for racism around every corner and behind every tree.
What the Dimocrat Party has done to blacks by “helping” them is a disgrace. Jim Crow couldn’t break up the black family, but welfare did. The useful idiots of the Congressional Black Caucus are willing accomplices and share the blame for this. What do they care? They get their $175K a year. They’re treated like royalty.
They think they are helping their constituents but instead they have condemned them to lousy schools that they drop out of and to a life of poverty with no ambition and dependence upon the gummint and they have been told they are entitled to this because of Slavery® and white racism.
What do we get with these “enlightened” social programs with these “investments” in poverty programs – all gummint spending is now investing – throw money down the toilet and it is an investment – in the black community. Black on black crime. Blacks kill more blacks than they do whites. On the rare occasion when a white dude, or a “white Hispanic” dude kills a black person, it’s the Crime of the Century. Move over, OJ! You only killed a white bitch – “she had it coming” say blacks – and a Jew. Big deal! Zimmerman killed a poor little misguided, innocent, black choir boy who has now became a saint, St. Trayvon of Skittles. There’s a Trayvon killed by another Trayvon at least once a week in Detoilet, Chicago, and St. Louis.
I was originally just gonna post that picture, but I can’t help myself when I think of all the lives ruined by the good intentions of liberals. I’m beginning to think that the most dangerous person in the world is a liberal with “good intentions”. All I have to do is look at how successful the War on Poverty and LBJ’s Great Fucking Society has been. It’s been real successful for the Dimocrat Party and LBJ was right when he said “it will have niggers voting for Dimocrats for generations.”
It was “good intentions” by liberals that gave us Obummercare and we are now seeing what a total disaster that has become. Let’s insure everyone, force insurance companies to cover people with pre-eisting conditions, and watch health insurance premiums drop. This can only happen in Liberal Land. Look! There’s a unicorn!

I have been saying over and over for the last six months that blacks did far better under Reagan and both Bushes than under Obungler. Three eeeeee-vil racist Republicans created a better employment climate for blacks, especially black teenagers, than the halfrican in office now.
While I was attending college, one of my part time jobs was delivering flowers. I was paid less than the minimum wage for the fist six months but I was happy just to have a part time job that I could schedule my classes around. Six months later, after I had learned much of the city and county and knew a lot of shortcuts, I got a raise to minimum wage. Eventually, I could do all of the delivery runs and was paid 50 cents an hour higher than minimum wage. It amazed me that the delivery guys were specialized. Some of them could only do North St. Louis and North County. Some could do only West and South St. Louis and St. Louis County. WTF? Within a year, I was the best driver they had. When I dropped out of school and started looking for a job, they made me a full time driver. When I scored the job with IBM, the owner of the flower shop wanted to see if he could match what IBM was gonna pay me. He would have matched the salary, but he couldn’t match the benefits and the salary potential of IBM. Three months after I hired on, I had finished my training and got a $130/month raise. For a couple of years, I would work on holidays delivering flowers. Most of the guys who did that got 75 cents per package and had to use their own car. Since he wanted me to do the far away stuff, I told him it would cost $1 per package and I would use one of his trucks. He agreed. I was able to make $40 tax free if the holiday was on the weekend, like the Saturday before Mother’s Day. When IBM started paying me more, I was able to quit that.
Minimum wage is entry level for unskilled people. This “living wage” bullshit is a crock. Anyone trying to raise a family on a minimum wage job is a booger eatin’ moh-ron. When your value to the employer goes up, your wages will follow. I got paid more than the other delivery dudes by the owner of the flower shop because I could do more. I could do all of the routes and could do them faster than the guys who only knew one of the routes. As Heinlein once said, “Specialization is for insects.”
The low-end jobs are the low rungs on the ladder. In our misplaced compassion, we’ve snatched away those low rungs, making it an impossible leap from being a dumb, sullen, angry kid (and I’m not talking about “them”; we all had some of that in us!) to being a responsible adult and doing what it takes to earn a living.
I was reading the autobiography of Gene Fowler, a prominent newsman of his day. Born in 1890 and growing up in Denver, he describes, as a kid, stopping by construction projects after school. You just showed up, did the grunt work — moving rocks and earth — and picked up pocket money. A good deal for all. Most importantly, a dumb kid had options, possibilities. You learned you could eke out a living if you had to. Didn’t have to beg for charity. You don’t get that anymore. Can’t get those jobs. Got to have insurance, wages, paperwork. Living wage. They even shut down lemon-aid stands. That’s okay; the welfare state will save you. Line up for a gubmint check. Learn that you can’t survive without it.
As a kid, I remember being frustrated. Felt worthless. What did anyone need me for? When you feel worthless, you lash out. I’m not making excuses for the ferals. But I do feel we’ve failed them. Failed them horribly, while we pat ourselves on the back for how much we’ve “helped” them.
Flashing back to one of Michael Savage’s stories. As a kid, he got work in a small New York pharmacy. Small job, small pay. A great opportunity for him at the time. One day a man came in, asked for some medication. The owner is sitting next to young Michael, having lunch. So Michael hands the guy his medication as the owner watches. Turns out the “customer” is an inspector. Big fine for the owner. Michael loses his job. That’s how the government “helps” and “protects” people.

Once a safety net becomes a hammock, it is easy to cut the ropes and turn it back into a net. This government is living paycheck to paycheck and some day soon its’ checks are going to bounce. And down comes baby, hammock and all.
