So, this is a week late. Many readers, including my sister, sent me this letter from a veteran to his child’s school.

How dare he! Doesn’t he realize that MLK was a martyr and a saint! Black people celebrate him by committing a lot of murders (mostly of other blacks so they can become martyrs as well. Martyrs for what, I don’t know. Maybe they’re only saints and martyrs when white people or “white Hispanics” kill them so they can become saints like St. Trayvon of Skittles) in the part of town where streets named after him are. He’s much more important than the veterans who fought and died for this country. After all, blacks kill more blacks in a year in large American cities than the Taliban kill soldiers in Afghanistan. It’s safer to be a soldier in Afghanistan than it is to be a black living in large American cities like Detoilet, St. Louis, or Chicago.
